God; The Light, The Shadow
Why do we lit candles when coming before God?
Is it to summon our sins to that point of singularity like a moth to a flame?
“This is the book of the generations of Adam. In the day when God created man, He made him in the likeness of God.” Genesis 5:1
Why do you lit candle when going before the source of light himself little boy?
Or do you want to compare your shadows with God?
Don’t you remember your mother reciting Job 34:22
"There is no darkness or deep shadow Where the workers of iniquity may hide themselves.”
“Where does my shadow come from?” you ask
God; The Shadow
“Shadow: a dark area or shape produced by a body coming between rays of light and a surface.”
Now ask yourself,
Are you the surface?
Or the rays of light?
God; A Prayer
“Where do you pray?”
The concerned ones ask
“At the bottom of empty bottles
By the edge of corks
On tip of cigars
The knees of my fingers pinned to ashtrays
Between legs
Before closed eyes
Behind guns” I would tell them.
“For how much?” they would ask.
Because it’s always about the cost by the end of the day, for them.
“Should it matter?”
If,
If the only thing that makes me feel alive ask to be paid in terms of days and a shade of my soul? It that really too much?”
God; A Sin
I have not sinned for quite a while,
But if sin was to be a man walking on grey lines
A grey line between the path less travelled by and a path my father had paved
If sin was to be a man walking past old trees that don’t breathe, towards a sunset
Towards a sunset, alone
If sin was to be a man living under clouds forming no shape
Shapes of my imagination my mind has conceived
If sin,
If sin was to be a man who’s lost but won’t admit,
Then Father,
I am myself a sin,
I must confess,
And repent,
I must confess to the grey line that hell is my feet that refuse to step aside
I must repent before the old wise trees
I must be baptized, immerse myself in the clouds in the name of my father’s path,
I, the son
And the passion within me.
And God shall be my homeless purpose that’s been sleeping out on the cold street I refused to take.
God; Solitude
Why do we find divine things when we’re just by ourselves?
In solitude
In aloneness
Wasn’t God all alone when he made the universe?
Or wasn’t the universe all alone in its point of origin,
Before all the mass in the universe was compressed into a single point of infinite density
Before it exploded
To form everything and nothing
Isn’t solitude that made it all?
What do you think of when you’re alone?
Whether alone Alone
Or Alone in a crowd
What do you think of?
Perhaps,
Another world?
The future?
Or the past somehow better?
Does solitude bring the God out of you?
The creator within you?
God; A time Spent; A Time wasted
What is it about your life and what you make a living out of?
What is it about what you do and what you don’t?
What is it with “one more times” and “giving up”?
What is it about time?
What is it about spending time and wasting time?
What is it about routines?
Don’t they all carve us into mediocrity?
What do the hands of God and the things we don’t pay attention to have in common?
They both make something into nothing
And nothing into something
The trick is in staying awake
Or you’ll wake up with something unfamiliar
Supposedly part of you
For you to live with.

You have two eyes, each compose of 130 million photoreceptor calls. In each one of those cells, there are 100,000,000,000,000(100 trillion) atoms more than all stars in the milky way galaxy.
However each atom in each cell in each eye formed in the core of star, billion of years ago, and yet all to expand the consciousness that is you.
The universe has an interesting sense of irony, in that you are the universe experiencing itself.
All you are is a thought.

Run boy run....
The sound of your name shadows you
The generations you carry within the brown of your eyes walk before you
The stories you don't know yet brought you hang on the strand of your hair and drag you
The secrets that hide within that valley of your stretchmarks feed on your gut
Run boy run
That womb of a cave that once hid you now echos
Those arms that shielded you surrendered to the ground your feet trust
The back that never turned on you faces you
The tears that once protected you are now the very ocean washing away the chain of names you are made of
So
Run boy run
Don't let the wind see your face
Don't speak your fears into ears of a shell which survived the wave
Don't let the moon see how your arms win the race against her tides
And don't trust the night to hide your steps you leave behind
Run boy run

One day
You'll go around an empty room looking through the remnants of my existence
But for now
I live
For now
My heart beats colors of life
Black to my hair
Red to my cheeks
Life to my flesh
One day
I'll make a home within canvases
A spine out of iron bars
Flesh out of mud
But until then
I live
Before I am art
I get to be human.
