Just like you see the light a thunder sends before you hear its loud roar
You'd see his spark first ,
and it'd be purple,
aren't all bruises purple?
You'd see him spark one last time and hear his cry long after his light is gone.

“Let’s not talk about the past. I really want to move on” I tell him.

“Do you know what the best way to move on is?” he asks, smiling

“What?” I ask

“Coloring your hair.” He laughs.

For some reason, I really hoped he had the answers.
After a minute, when he sees me giving up
He continues,

“I read somewhere that the hair contains information about everything that has ever been in the bloodstream."

I do my thinking on the road
So the same thought won't happen twice
But will be long gone with the wind
The trees the houses
The sunset
I leave behind
"Why do you write?"
Is the equivalence of "Are you okay?"
That's why my fingers stutter all over my keyboard
Boy: How are you still alive?
Old Man: Death stood me up because I didn't treat life well

When the highs and lows hit

When the highs hit
I thank the lord as I get home from a long day
I thank the lord for the cold water that runs down my body
I would look at the water and close my eyes to feel it
And I would feel my sins going under my feet
When the highs hit
I applaud the lord for the blue sky, the wind, and trees I walk past
I thank the lord for the pillow
Where I rest my head
And I pray, "Thank you lord."

And when the lows hit
Like today
I run from the lord
From home
From myself
All my sins come back to find me
And I pray, "Lord, I am tired."

Honored to be announcing this collaboration with "Not a Goodbye."
For the next 6 days, I will be posting a collaboration piece a day.

It's been amazing working with you 🙌🌻

"Not a Goodbye is a place of belonging. It has been thought to be a home, a homeland. It's the place where I give voice to memories, space to dreams and shape to glee. It's an ethereal field of openness. This is where it all started. The way I'm now developing this project includes manly drawings and short stories, but I'm working with photography, filmmaking and music too. If I'd really picture Not a Goodbye as a physical place, there would be a sign at its entrance: goodbyes are forbidden here and memory doesn't prioritize the truth. 'Cause everything falls into place around that."

How do you know you've met your soulmate?

- All in the conversation

With
or
without words.

Illustration : Not a Goodbye
You and I
We are the prodigal stars of our constellations

Illustration : Not a Goodbye
Maybe the universe feels like a third wheel when you and I get together

Illustration : Not a Goodbye
You are from the future
The stars revealed to me
I am of the past
A clone of your memories
We had to meet
Somewhere called "now"
To duplicate my soul or recreate your chronicles
I looked and sought
For a wormhole
A bridge
Where yesterday and tomorrow could meet
Where you and I could meet
Proving noikov wrong
Crossing his time paradoxes
Where time and Light could escape our zone
And space no longer part us
You
Me
Now
Yesterday and tomorrow in matrimony
As our galaxy wraps our fabrics of space
We shall happen in all probability

We named our first anniversary "The Planck era"

As in the interval of time seconds after the big bang before the universe grew to one hundred billion trillion-trillionths of a meter.

Just like our days together.

Dedicated to a Friend;

°A Woman in the Making°

Her protostar took its time through its birth
If you take a closer look at her skin
You'll see the fusion within her formation
If you look deep into her eyes
You'll sense how far back in time her story goes
But just like the sky has its secrets
She has hers
Just like the sky hides the death of its stars
You won't see the bridges she's burned
The part of her she's buried
In her skin
Just like the sky has its own grace at night
And its charm in daylight
Despite what happens on the other side
You will always see her on her feet
Her head above the clouds
Day and night
She is a woman in the making
Her star took its time forming so it won't burn out
She is a woman in the making
The prodigal star of her constellation
You shall hear of her
You shall see her light
Not years
not months
After she's disappeared
But now
While her sky of a skin still lives
Her core shall not run out of its existence fuel
Just like you can't see what it cost the sky for the stars to shine
Just like you won't see any evidence of battles happening on the other side
You won't find scars on her sky of a skin
Because
she is a woman
In the making
A star
Taking her time within her formation
She wont burn out anytime soon
God; The Light, The Shadow

Why do we lit candles when coming before God?
Is it to summon our sins to that point of singularity like a moth to a flame?

“This is the book of the generations of Adam. In the day when God created man, He made him in the likeness of God.” Genesis 5:1

Why do you lit candle when going before the source of light himself little boy?
Or do you want to compare your shadows with God?

Don’t you remember your mother reciting Job 34:22
"There is no darkness or deep shadow Where the workers of iniquity may hide themselves.”

“Where does my shadow come from?” you ask

God; The Shadow
“Shadow: a dark area or shape produced by a body coming between rays of light and a surface.”
Now ask yourself,
Are you the surface?
Or the rays of light?

God; A Prayer
“Where do you pray?”
The concerned ones ask
“At the bottom of empty bottles
By the edge of corks
On tip of cigars
The knees of my fingers pinned to ashtrays
Between legs
Before closed eyes
Behind guns” I would tell them.
“For how much?” they would ask.
Because it’s always about the cost by the end of the day, for them.
“Should it matter?”
If,
If the only thing that makes me feel alive ask to be paid in terms of days and a shade of my soul? It that really too much?”

God; A Sin

I have not sinned for quite a while,
But if sin was to be a man walking on grey lines
A grey line between the path less travelled by and a path my father had paved
If sin was to be a man walking past old trees that don’t breathe, towards a sunset
Towards a sunset, alone
If sin was to be a man living under clouds forming no shape
Shapes of my imagination my mind has conceived
If sin,
If sin was to be a man who’s lost but won’t admit,
Then Father,
I am myself a sin,
I must confess,
And repent,
I must confess to the grey line that hell is my feet that refuse to step aside
I must repent before the old wise trees
I must be baptized, immerse myself in the clouds in the name of my father’s path,
I, the son
And the passion within me.
And God shall be my homeless purpose that’s been sleeping out on the cold street I refused to take.

God; Solitude

Why do we find divine things when we’re just by ourselves?
In solitude
In aloneness
Wasn’t God all alone when he made the universe?
Or wasn’t the universe all alone in its point of origin,
Before all the mass in the universe was compressed into a single point of infinite density
Before it exploded
To form everything and nothing
Isn’t solitude that made it all?
What do you think of when you’re alone?
Whether alone Alone
Or Alone in a crowd
What do you think of?
Perhaps,
Another world?
The future?
Or the past somehow better?
Does solitude bring the God out of you?
The creator within you?

God; A time Spent; A Time wasted

What is it about your life and what you make a living out of?
What is it about what you do and what you don’t?
What is it with “one more times” and “giving up”?
What is it about time?
What is it about spending time and wasting time?
What is it about routines?
Don’t they all carve us into mediocrity?
What do the hands of God and the things we don’t pay attention to have in common?
They both make something into nothing
And nothing into something
The trick is in staying awake
Or you’ll wake up with something unfamiliar
Supposedly part of you
For you to live with.

You have two eyes, each compose of 130 million photoreceptor calls. In each one of those cells, there are 100,000,000,000,000(100 trillion) atoms more than all stars in the milky way galaxy.
However each atom in each cell in each eye formed in the core of star, billion of years ago, and yet all to expand the consciousness that is you.
The universe has an interesting sense of irony, in that you are the universe experiencing itself.
All you are is a thought.

For a place where life once began
For a place that stretches beyond our time
For a place that has seen too many collisions and formations
Space is too silent
That's why I feel at home
Everytime words are felt but left unsaid
