Mining operation update

On Saturday night (local time), a severe storm with strong winds hit the area where our operation is located and damaged part of the electrical setup, specifically the cables that feed the disconnect switches at the power intake.

The technical team has already made the repair, and the machines are back on and returning to normal operation.

The current fix solves the problem for now, but it is not the permanent one. On Monday or Tuesday we will do a scheduled shutdown to fully replace those cables. Until then, if another storm with strong winds comes through, there may be a new interruption.

What this means in practice: adding the downtime from the storm to the scheduled shutdown for the replacement, the next distribution should be lower than usual.
We will post an update here as soon as the replacement is done.
