Update: strategic BTC reserve and 100,000 EVA burn
1. Strategic reserve for mining expansion
Daily mining production remains normal, averaging ~0.38 BTC/day. What changed is the allocation: around ~0.32 BTC/day continue to be distributed to the vaults, and the difference now builds a BTC reserve dedicated to future investments in mining equipment.
The reason is simple: new machines increase production permanently, and higher production means more BTC flowing into everyone's vaults, forever. The reserve has already accumulated ~5.58 BTC and can be tracked in real time, by anyone, through the pool's observer dashboard: https://www.viabtc.com/en/observer/dashboard?access_key=1d62856cb995903115078f07c6f40843&user_id=2297499
2. The project will burn 100,000 EVA of its own holdings
In the coming days, the project will burn 100,000 EVA of its own tokens through the Burn Vault Core.
These tokens belong to the project and could, in theory, one day return to the market. After the burn, they will no longer exist: total supply will drop permanently, and the project gives up part of its share in the ecosystem in favor of all holders. With fewer tokens in circulation, all incoming BTC is distributed among fewer units, accelerating the growth of the vaults over time.
3. The redeemed wBTC will be fully deposited into the Boost
The ~2.11 wBTC redeemed in the burn will be deposited into the Burn Vault Boost, expanding the amount of guaranteed tokens by around 3.9k EVA (~US$ 170k at the current floor), which also keeps growing with the daily flow. That is the direction: expanding the universe of protected EVA further and further.
The burn and deposit hashes will be published here as soon as the transactions are executed, so anyone can verify them on-chain.
About the Boost burn price:
Some may ask whether, with more guaranteed tokens, we will increase the share of the flow dedicated to raising the floor. For now, not considerably, and the reason is technical: when the floor gets too close to the market price, it creates an arbitrage where tokens are bought on the market and immediately burned in the vault, draining wBTC that exists to protect all holders. Keeping a healthy distance between floor and market is what preserves the strength of the Boost. The floor will keep rising with the mining flow, at the pace that keeps that protection sustainable.
No empty promises, no shortcuts: real mining, math, and transparency.
