NOTICE — TEMPORARY REDUCTION IN PRODUCTIVITY
Hello, EVA community!
Today, we received an official request from Paraguay’s grid dispatch office to temporarily reduce our electricity demand, which may momentarily impact productivity.
What happened
We were notified to reduce demand on our 23kV supply to 10% of our reserved capacity (i.e., a 90% reduction) for today, Wednesday, February 18, 2026, during the following window:
• 08:00–24:00 (local time)
Why this is happening
Due to high demand on the National Interconnected System (SIN) and temporary energy constraints in the system, the dispatch office is requesting demand reductions to help stabilize the grid. These requests are foreseen in our operating agreements and may occur under stressed grid conditions (e.g., extreme heat/high load).
Impact
During this period, our mining operations will run at significantly reduced capacity, which may result in lower mining output in today’s and/or tomorrow’s distribution.
Important notes
• This is a specific, temporary measure
• It falls within normal contractual operating conditions
• It can occur during periods of system stress / high demand
• We will return to full capacity as soon as the system normalizes and restrictions are lifted
