በአዲስ አበባ ዩኒቨርሲቲ ትምህርታቸውን በመከታተል ላይ የሚገኙ ከትግራይ ክልል የመጡ ተማሪዎች፣ በክልሉ አለ ባሉት " አስገዳጅ የውትድርና ምልመላ " እና የጸጥታ ስጋት ምክንያት ወደ ቤተሰቦቻቸው መመለስ እንደማይችሉ ገልጸው፤ የዩኒቨርሲቲው አስተዳደር የክረምት ማደሪያ (ዶርሚተሪ) እንዲፈቅድላቸው በቲክቫህ ኢትዮጵያ በኩል ጥሪ ማቅረባቸው ይታወሳል።

ተማሪዎቹ ለቲክቫህ ኢትዮጵያ በላኩት አቤቱታቸው፤ ወደ ክልሉ መመለሳቸው ከአካላዊ ደህንነት ስጋት ባለፈ፣ የጀመሩትን የከፍተኛ ትምህርት ጉዞ ሙሉ በሙሉ ሊያቋርጥባቸው እንደሚችልም መግለጻቸው ይታወሳል።

ቲክቫህ ኢትዮጵያ ተማሪዎች በግቢው ውስጥ ክረምቱን እንዲያሳልፉ የተፈቀደላቸው መሆኑን ከተማሪዎቹ ሰምቷል።

የአዲስ አበባ ዩኒቨርሲቲ የኮምዩኔኬሽን ዳይሬክተር ኤልያስ ወርቁ (ዶ/ር) ይህንኑ ለቲክቫህ ኢትዮጵያ አረጋግጠዋል።

ዳይሬክተሩ " አስፈላጊው በጀት እንዲመጣ ተደርጎ ተማሪዎቹ በግቢው እንዲቆዩ ተደርጓል" ነው ያሉት።

የአዲስ አበባ ዩኒቨርሲቲ አካዳሚክ ምክትል ፕሬዚዳንት ጄይሉ ኡመር (ዶ/ር) ተማሪዎቹ በግቢው ያሉ መሆናቸውን አረጋግጠዋል።

ላቀረቡት ቅሬታም ምላሽ የተሰጠ መሆኑን በማረጋገጥ አስፈላጊው ነገሮች እየተደረጉ ይቆያሉ ሲሉ ገልጸዋል።

ቲክቫህ ኢትዮጵያ በትምህርት ሚኒስቴር የአካዳሚክ ጉዳዮች መሪ ስራ አስፈጻሚ የሆኑትን ኤባ ሚጀና(ዶ/ር) የዩኒቨርሲቲው ተማሪዎች ያቀረቡት ቅሬታ ደርሷቹ ነበር ? በሌሎች ዩኒቨርሲቲዎች ያሉ ከትግራይ ክልል መጥተው ትምህርታቸውን የሚከታተሉ ተማሪዎችስ ጉዳይ? ስንል ጠይቀናል።

በምላሻቸው እስካሁን ከዩኒቨርሲቲ ተማሪዎች ይህን አይነት ቅሬታ አለመድረሱን ገልጸው መሰል ቅሬታዎች ካሉ የሚያጣሩ መሆኑን አሳውቀዋል።

እንደምናውቀው የአማራ፣ የትግራይ እና የኦሮሚያ ክልሎች ለረጅም ጊዜ በግጭት ውስጥ ይገኛሉ። ሆኖም መንግሥት ለሁሉም ክልሎች እኩል ትኩረት እየሰጠ እንደማይታይ ይስማል።

አዲስ አበባ ዩኒቨርሲቲ ከሶስቱም ክልሎች ተማሪዎችን ያካተተ የGoogle Form አውጥቶ ነበር። በግምት 900 ተማሪዎች ተመዝግበው መረጃቸው ለትምህርት ሚኒስቴር ተልኳል። መጀመሪያ ላይ ሂደቱ ፍትሃዊና ሁሉንም ያካተተ እንደሆነ ይታይ ነበር። ነገር ግን የመጨረሻው የተመረጡ ዝርዝር ሲወጣ ከአማራና ከኦሮሚያ የመጡ ተማሪዎች በአብዛኛው እንዳልተካተቱ ታየ።

ስለዚህ ጉዳይ የአዲስ አበባ ዩኒቨርሲቲ ኃላፊዎችን ስንጠይቅ፣ ዝርዝሩ ከመውጣቱ አንድ ሳምንት በፊት በዝርዝሩ ውስጥ እንዳንጠብቅ ነግረውን ነበር። ይህም ሂደቱ ፍትሃዊ እንደሆነ ቢታይም ውጤቱ ግን እንዲሁ እንዳልነበር ጥያቄ ያስነሳል።

በተጨማሪም የትምህርት ሚኒስቴር ለ30 ተማሪዎች ብቻ በጀት መመደቡን አስታውቋል። ተጨማሪ መረጃ በሚገኝ ቁጥር እናሳውቃችኋለን።

as we all know the 3 Ethiopian regions are in constant conflicts which are Amhara Tigray ,Oromia.
But government seems not focused equally
Addis Ababa University announced google form that was inclusive both of three regions and 900 students among three regions registered and send to ministor of education but thing seed fair and equal untill we see who are selected in the spot both Amhara and oromomia students are ignored .
When we asked officials form Addis Ababa University they said don't expect yourselves to include the list that was week before release of the list. Everything seems like they was acting to make it fair but unfair.
We are asking Ministor of education announced budget for 30+ students

Inclusive Growth (IG) is a local NGO dedicated to the empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) and Women. Our IT and Accessible Technology department is at the forefront of ensuring digital spaces are barrier-free through the promotion and deployment of assistive technologies.
We are seeking a high-energy, technically proficient Inclusive Technology Digital Accessibility Trainer. This role is not about theoretical knowledge; it is about the hands-on transfer of skills to staff, partners, and the community to ensure that digital inclusion becomes a lived reality.
Key Responsibilities
• Curriculum Development: Design and update modular training programs on web accessibility, document accessibility (PDF/Word), and mobile inclusivity.
• Assistive Tech Instruction: Conduct practical, hands-on workshops on using and configuring screen readers (JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver), magnification software, and Alternative and Augmentative Communication (AAC) tools.
• Technical Facilitation: Lead "Accessibility Labs" to teach staff how to conduct manual accessibility audits and use automated testing tools (e.g., WAVE, AXE).
• Inclusive Content Training: Train content creators and communications teams on universal design principles, including alt-text writing, color contrast, and captioning.
• Performance Evaluation: Develop assessment tools to measure the competency of trainees in implementing inclusive design practices.
• Resource Creation: Produce accessible training manuals and "quick-start" guides for various assistive ICT tools.

Qualifications & Experience
Essential:
• Instructional Experience: Proven experience in technical training, teaching, or facilitation, specifically in the context of ICT.
• Technical Mastery: Deep understanding of WCAG 2.1/2.2, WAI-ARIA, and Section 508 standards.
• Accessible Technology Proficiency:
Knowledge of accessible and assistive technology
• Practical Auditing: Experience in performing accessibility evaluations and translating those findings into teaching points.
