Detaching yourself from the system is like saving money. You’re not going to save enough to buy a house overnight, and you’re not going to be independent after ordering a go bag and a few MREs. Small changes made over time will add up if you have the will to make them.

Learn from failure: Success is all about failing, learning from it and trying again, an expert is just a person that failed many times and learned from it.
.
Ignore embarrassments: Making a fool of yourself at the start is the price we all pay when we try something new, ignore the embarrassments and move on.
.
Be consistent: Consistency is a requirement when it comes to improving, without it progress won't be seen and giving up will soon follow. Reading ten pages of book or going once to the gym won't get you anywhere , but reading a book a month and going 3 times a week to the gym will turn you into a different person.
.
Don't give up: Don't give up and repeat the cycle in this post as many times as it's needed and it will be just a matter of time until you achieve your goals

Praise be unto Jesus Christ the Son of God. Don’t forget to thank him for his sacrifice.
Romans 6:3-11

King James Version

3 Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?

4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.

5 For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection:

6 Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.

7 For he that is dead is freed from sin.

8 Now if we be dead with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him:

9 Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death hath no more dominion over him.

10 For in that he died, he died unto sin once: but in that he liveth, he liveth unto God.

11 Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord.

The never-ending lockdown is a lesson in how every tyranny in the history of man was established. Tyranny is not imposed against the will of the outraged masses, but veils itself in benevolence and is supported by the ignorant, fearful and cowardly.

Few people see anything besides work and school as obligations. To most people, everything is a hobby—a subjective choice of activity. As long as it strikes them as a hobby, most people won’t be put off by what you do.

Acquaintances won’t be unsettled if you go to church on Sundays as long as you’re out partying with them and not showing any signs of faith influencing your decisions. Going to the gym as a way to look good for women is similarly fine.

However, nurturing one’s faith and living it in their presence is not a hobby. Building your body out to become a defender of the good out of obligation is not a hobby. They are duties, and people will recognize them as such when they see you engaged in them. It will make them bristle.

People don’t want to hear that you do anything because you are MEANT to do it. They want to hear that you do it because you WANT to do it.

People don’t want to feel like they have to change their behavior. If what you do is just your “choice,” it doesn’t affect them. If they get the impression that they are “meant” to be doing something that they are not, it will make them feel like they are failing.

Ignorance of duty can only thrive when the collective agrees to forget it exists. They will scorn anyone who reminds them of responsibilities that they pretend do not exist. They can only hope to share in a common delusion, because they cannot rely on the feeling of purpose that comes from within.

“Conquer yourself each day from the very first moment, getting up on the dot, at a set time, without granting a single minute to laziness. If, with the help of God, you conquer yourself in that moment, you’ll have accomplished a great deal for the rest of the day. It’s so discouraging to find yourself beaten in the first skirmish!”

If you want to change the world, turn the finger you point at others back upon yourself.

All change begins within.

You cannot fix the world until you fix yourself.

Be relentlessly selfish in your early years, and give back to the world once you’re a made man.

We all have the power to make an incredible impact on the world. 🦍

Every moment is an opportunity to get ahead and move the needle of progress.

Forget about tomorrow.

Forget about next month.

Forget about yesterday.

Ground yourself in the present moment and execute. Leave no doubt; greatness manifests for people with this mentality. 🦍

The Way 51:

Your manly character — simple and straightforward — is oppressed when you find yourself entangled in gossip and mischievous talk, which you cannot understand and in which you never wished to be involved.

Undergo the humiliation that such talk causes you and let the experience teach you greater discretion.
