Today 🇪🇺 disburses €2.8 bln under Ukraine Facility.

This recognises Ukraine’s continued progress in implementing reforms under #UkrainePlan, bringing 🇺🇦 also ever closer to 🇪🇺 membership.

Ukraine has received the seventh tranche of financing from the European Union under the Ukraine Facility, totaling €2.8 billion.

Total financing under this mechanism has now exceeded €29.4 billion.

The funds will be directed toward priority state budget expenditures, including social and humanitarian needs.

This is already the seventh tranche under the program. At this stage, Ukraine has fulfilled 11 indicators under the Ukraine Plan, covering reforms in public administration, economic policy, energy, digitalization, and the rule of law.

In addition, Ukraine has completed a number of conditions ahead of schedule for the next stages of financing. For the first time, we will receive additional compensation for the early implementation of reform commitments.

As of the end of May 2026, Ukraine has fulfilled 86 measures under the Plan, while another 65 are at different stages of implementation.

The Government continues to systematically implement the changes needed to ensure economic resilience, support the country’s recovery, and bring Ukraine closer to EU membership. - Yulia Svyrydenko

RT @r_stefanchuk: The Ukrainian Parliament is advancing reforms during wartime — and this is precisely what enables Ukraine to move towards membership in the European Union and receive the support it needs.

This was the focus of my meeting with the European Commissioner for Enlargement, @MartaKosEU.

I thanked Commissioner Kos for her consistent support for Ukraine. In her, our country has a great friend. I emphasised that all key European integration laws enjoy consolidated support in the Verkhovna Rada. Parliament has also ratified the agreements required to implement the EU’s €90 billion financial support package for Ukraine.

We expect the negotiation clusters to be opened in the near future. This would send an important political signal to Ukrainian society, which sees its future in a united Europe.

Marta Kos noted that, despite the war, Ukraine continues to deliver reforms and that the Verkhovna Rada supports the necessary legislative initiatives. She stressed that EU accession is a nationwide process requiring consistent further work by all institutions.

We also discussed European security. Ukraine is already making a direct contribution to the continent's security, which is why our integration must encompass not only the economic and political dimensions but also the defence dimension.

I am sincerely grateful to Marta Kos for the support that Ukraine feels and deeply values.
