Russia’s aggression has caused mass and severe violations of children’s rights: over 19 500 children deported or forcibly displaced by Russia, 2 245 are considered missing, millions live under constant threat to their health and security.

Grateful to all our partners for providing humanitarian assistance and contributing to safety, education, and well-being of Ukrainian children. We especially value our cooperation through the Bring Kids Back UA platform and International Coalition for the Return of Ukrainian Children. Due to our joint efforts, 1 819 children have been safely returned home.

We also count on the support of UN Member States for the adoption of the UN General Assembly resolution, initiated by Ukraine, on the return of Ukrainian children from Russia.

Together, we must protect every child, uphold their rights, and ensure for them a safe, peaceful, and free future.
