From Marshall McLuhan:

“Violence, whether spiritual or physical, is a quest for identity and the meaningful. The less identity, the more violence.” --Violence in the media / Canadian Forum Volume 56, (p9), 1976

“All forms of violence are quests for identity. When you live on the frontier, you have no identity. You're a nobody.” --The Education of Mike McManus (TV Ontario), December 28, 1977

“Violence is the quest for identity. When identity disappears with technological innovation, violence is the natural recourse.”

“Any loss of identity prompts people to seek reassurance and rediscovery of themselves by testing, and even by violence. Today, the electric revolution, the wired planet, and the information environment involve everybody in everybody to the point of individual extinction.” --Letters of Marshall McLuhan by Marshall McLuhan (p514), 1987

“Pornography and violence are by-products of societies in which private identity has been ... destroyed by sudden environmental change.” --Letters of Marshall McLuhan (p514), 1987

“In experimental art, men are given the exact specifications of coming violence to their own psyches from their own counter-irritant or technology... But the counter-irritant usually proves a greater plague than the initial irritant, like a drug habit.” --Understanding media: the extensions of man, 1964

“The TV generation is postliterate and retribalized. It seeks by violence to scrub the old private image and to merge in a new tribal identity, like any corporate executive.” --The Book of Probes: Marshall McLuhan (p201) 2011

We must care enough for one another to choose to gently, patiently, respectfully restore our sense of collective dignity and honorable behavior -- where those have too extensively gone missing -- and we all need them in order to properly repair our communications, our physiology, and our living bodies.
Our etymology is what we are co-creating and repairing together. We're recovering our connectivity to what is sacred in all of us and emergent into physical reality.

You as a living being have languages that are yours.
And if you are traumatized, which on this planet, I suspect you are, or at least have been, as we all move through our recovery processes…
You must speak your language.
You must root your language.
You must stabilize your language.
And it's not necessarily just one language. It's yours. It's your complex of language access.
And as a complex, beautiful, powerful living being, when you root your languaging first, and you continue to tend to it as a sacred garden… it will completely change all of your communications… verbal and nonverbal… across your entire lifespan.

"This spring we will be planting 500 Community Fruit and Nut Trees with YOU!

A Community Fruit Tree is a publicly owned fruit tree that is easily accessible for anyone to pick from. A sign next to the tree invites people to enjoy the fruit and each tree can be found on our online map. These trees help to create food sovereignty and regenerate our Earth while bringing together community!

Do you want food to be growing freely and abundantly for everyone in your community to enjoy?

Do you want to make your community a happier, healthier and more sustainable place?

Do you have the dedication and organizational skills to make it happen this spring?

Learn more about Community Fruit Trees and our spring planting plan on our website at http://www.communityfruittrees.org.

If this sounds like something you'd LOVE to do after reading the plan, apply to be a Community Fruit Tree steward. We will support you by providing the trees and knowledge for FREE to help you plant delicious and nutritious food in your community!

With my partners at Live Like Ally Foundation."

Community Fruit for All
"What are community fruit trees?
Community fruit trees are publicly owned and available for everyone to enjoy. We aim to ensure that our neighbors have access to delicious, nutritious fruit. We also hope to reduce hunger, improve our natural environment, create a deeper connection to our food, build community and exercise our independence from the globalized, industrial food system.
A sign next to the tree invites people to enjoy the fruit. Each tree can be found on the map below brought to you by our friends at fallingfruit.org. Just imagine picking fresh berries, apples, plums, peaches, pears – directly off trees and bushes, right in your neighborhood!" • http://CommunityFruitTrees.orghttps://youtu.be/4q6dbhHZl8whttps://t.me/MakePeaceLifeSchool/294, https://t.me/MakePeaceLifeSchool/295, https://t.me/MakePeaceLifeSchool/296
