Exchange is a key principle - you are taking the part of the Plant for something beneficial to you; you must give something of "value" back.

You must learn to offer your little treasure before plucking or taking part of the plants or trees you want for your benefits.

In my part of the world, Africa, some people offers cola nut, coins or even a little libation before plucking or taking a part of a tree or plants for their medicinal and spiritual purposes and especially in their ritualistic activities.

You must also learn to offer GRATITUDE through simple affirmation anytime you want to get any plants or herbs (A simple thank you sends a rippling effects of appreciation and respect to the plant ecosystem).

Sometimes, it is required of YOU to come back and offer "THANK YOU" to some of the ancient plants or trees for giving you success in your spiritual request or practices.

Sometimes you must loudly speak out "Agoo(3xKNOCKING)", you're seeking permission to enter into their privacy or sacred DOME.

Treat every sentient beings with love and respect, be kind to ALL!!
