I know most of you guys are in a dilemma now with foggy minds not knowing whether to go to university or not. Wanna talk about my decision to come to University of Toronto. It was pretty tough but I chose to be here.
Are you interested ? Should I write a post about what urged me to take that risk ?👇

Admitted ! ✅
March 23 4:00 AM in the morning (Ramadan). The day I got my acceptance for University of Toronto.
At that time I had decent amount of universities to choose from but I decided to take some time and think about the decision. I waited for a month and during that period I talked 🗣️to people who study in Canada, talked to my mentors, parents, friends.
I talked to a person who lives in Canada for like 4 hours and this phrase made me pay the deposit: “Omad odamga xar doim ham kelmaydi, nechi kishi Top 50 talik universitetga kirganini etib bera olasizmi ?” He asked. I counter few people and he said. “Bu Allah ning ne’mati va buni rad etish yaxshi fikirmas deb o’yliman. Sababi, bu narsa uchun siz butun yoshligingizni sarf qilgansiz, va Allah dan so’rab duo qilgansiz” he said.
“Tasavur qiling qiyomatda Allah sizni oldiga chaqirib so’radi: Bandam, men senga shu ne’matni berdim, sen shundan foydalandingmi deganda nima deysiz ?” and he said “Men risk qilishdan qo’rqtim va ilm izlanishdan toxtdadim deysizmi🤔 ?”
So these are the words that made me commit to this university. What would you do in that situation? 👇

Abundance mindset 🧠
Staying in a rich Canadian family taught me a lot. First thing that I learned was:
Have an abundance mindset. Meaning, you have to think that there are a lot of opportunities and money around, you just have to try your best.
Often times I found myself sad by thinking that the job opportunities are limited and it is impossible to get a job. After talking to my friend, I learned this. We will try to implement it and see what happens.
Have you tried to think in this way ? what are the benefits ?👇

Walking around the skyscrapers 🏢 I reminded myself of my mentors words “Success is a stage by stage process, you gotta first make a good living, then 0s add up to themselves”
At one point you will realize that life that has been advertised on social media is not that easy to achieve. If you want it to be halal, then you gotta pass those stages.
I saw one guy on instagram saying “9-5 jobs are embarrasing” and I thought for some people it might be but for some people it’s a dream. Honestly, I assume everyone has to work for someone at some stage and there is nothing to be ashamed of.
Is it really embarrasing ? 👇

That feeling when you washed all the dishes 🧼, put the trash outside, cleaned the kitchen after a week mess and you are ready to read your favourite book…🥳
I know it may sound girlish boys, but yeah you will realize when you get to experience it yourself. May Allah help all of us to experience it (studying abroad and doing your chores)

Journaling 📕
A year ago I started writing my own book. My very first book about my life tribulations and experiences. The purpose was to leave something behind me that is worthy of reading. I first started explaining each day of my life while adding some motivational quotes and reminding myself to level up.
What urged me to do so❓Last September our member of community (mahalla) "Injener doda" died and we all went to his burial. The next morning I was walking to school and his son offered me a ride. I sat down and asked about his dad "Injener doda" life. He burst into tears and showed me the book that he left for his children.
"Eng qimmatbaho narsani qoldirib ketdilar" he said. He wrote about his life and added all the tips for his children that worked in his life. He wrote about drinking honey when someone catches a cold, talking to people in a calmly manner. Now, his children are reading it everyday and reminding themselves about their beloved father.
My purpose is to keep record of my life and show how my life has changed over years. The emotions that I felt when I first came to Canada, tips for studying (for my future children😁) and many more.

“Iye aka faqat ayollar ovqat pishiradi 🤣”
Some people look at cooking like it’s only for females. But I believe every human should know how to cook. It’s a basic survival skill ➕
Imagine you are left alone in a deserted island. What you gonna do about it ? If you can’t cook you will last for 3 days at most. But if you cook, you can survive until your death.
Personally, I love cooking and I started cooking in Ramadan. It’s very delicious when you make your own food. Especially when you overcook😂 with that black spots😂
Be honest do you know how to cook ? 👇

Northern Lights
Yesterday in Vancouver solar storm brought this beauty “Northern Lights” I didn’t have a chance to see it.
But InshaAllah one day with my family, nice coffee, children playing snow and watching this amazing Northern light.
I think it’s better than Solar Eclipse, what’s your opinion on that ?
