BCL Industries is one of India’s largest agro-processing manufacturing companies with diverse businesses and vertical integrations. Established in 1976, BCL Industries Limited has rapidly expanded and engaged its businesses in Edible Oils, Rice Milling, Grain Based Distillery and Real Estate.

In 1976, BCL began its journey with solvent extract plant, extracting oil from Rice Bran.

In 1990, BCL began manufacturing Vanaspati by installing 100MT Vanaspati plant.

In 1996, Company achieved turnover of INR 1000mn & in 2003-04 achieved turnover of INR 3000mn. In 2005, BCL ventured in real estate & launched its integrated township.

In 2006-10, installation of new green field, grain- based distillary- ethanol unit of 100kilo litre/ day, along with 5.0 MW co-generation power plant at Bathinda.

In 2011-15 period, BCL's Distillery Industry Unit established a bottling plant in Bathinda and launched a range of IMFL-labeled brands in the whiskey and vodka categories.

Initiated the expansion plan of its Distillery Industry from 100 KLPD to 200 KLPD in Bathinda.

In 2016-19 period, Production commenced at the BCL Distillery - Ethanol Unit, Dabwali Road, Bathinda increasing its capacity from 100 KLPD to 200 KLPD

Converted 50% capacity of BCL Distillery at Bathinda into Ethanol, and started supply to the OMCs from December'18.

Achieved turnover of 9,037 Mn in 2018-19, the highest in four decades of the company's history.

In 2022, BCL crossed Rs. 2000+ Crore turnover, making it among the top 1000 Companies based on market capitalization.

BCL Industries' Bathinda Distillery expansion from 200 KLPD to 400 KLPD was completed in 2023. Of the total 400 KLPD, 200 KLPD is dedicated for ENA (Extra Neutral Alcohol) and another 200 KLPD for Ethanol manufacturing. Even the Company has begun the expansion of its grain-based distillery at Kharagpur (West Bengal) manufacturing unit from 200 KLPD to 300 KLPD.

Promoter holding 60.41%. Even FII holding strongly increased in last quarter & in comparison from 0.06% in 09-2022 to 1.66% in 09-2023.

Our View:

Company strong on financial parameters, even government strongly focusing on ethnol blending programme in fuel in coming years in which company strongly working. Even strong order book for supplying mostly all OMCs. So good for medium to long term investment as my study view. One can see 100+ in short term. In long term expecting 150+ as per our research ✔️✔️
