یک ماه قبل مایکروسافت اعلام کرد سورس ویندوز را به سورس کنترل Git منتقل کرده است. سورس ویندوز با حدود 300 گیگ حجم، در حدود 3.5 میلیون فایل دارد و 4400 Branch فعال بر روی آن می باشد. روزانه تقریبا 8,500 Commit و 1,760 Build بر روی آن انجام میگیرد ! مایکروسافت اعلام کرده است برای نگهداری سورس ویندوز مجبور به Customize کردن Git شده است. خبر کامل را در لینک زیر مطالعه کنید :
