Importance of Discipline In Life
https://t.me/English_easyly_learn The Dalai Lama once said, “A disciplined mind leads to happiness, and an undisciplined mind leads to suffering.” This quote should become everyone’s motto if they want to live a fruitful life. We all know the fast-paced nature…

If you are not in the process of becoming the person you want to be, you are automatically engaged in becoming the person you don't want to be

About self-disipline...
credit: YouTube
I’ve spoken previously about self-discipline and how it’s the cornerstone of success and self-progress but because I love to dig deeper, I went searching for where does it starts. While reading “the road less traveled” I came across this: “the feeling of being valuable is a cornerstone of self-discipline because when one considers oneself valuable one will take care of oneself in all ways that are necessary. Self discipline is self-caring.”
Where does our self-worth comes from? Feeling valuable is a product of parental love (it always comes back to our childhood). This is not to shame any of our parents for doing what they thought was the right thing to do or purely just doing what they had to, to survive. I’m raising this point to show you the beginning of this journey. There’s always a root cause to any behavior or habit that we have and in order to break that cycle and reinvent ourselves, the first step is identifying it. So...you want self-discipline? Start by looking at how you view your self-worth.
