یکی از راه های منفی کردن جملات استفاده از Noو Not است. این دو تفاوت هایی دارند و نحوه ی استفاده کردنشان متفاوت است اما از نظر معنایی یکسان هستند:
1. No:
▪︎We use no as an adjective in front of a noun phrase or a noun without an article.
☆I have no money.
☆No biscuits before dinner!
☆No decisions have been made.
☆There’s no address on the envelope.
▪︎We use no before a noun without an article
☆There is no general rule without some exception.
▪︎We use no to answer a Yes/No question.
•Is this a good resturant?
°No. It isn't a good resturant.
▪︎We use no to agree with a negative statement.

👈شما میتونید به این صورت shadowing کنید:
1⃣ یک فایل Audio را انتخاب کنید. یک قطعه audio کوتاه را پیدا کنید. ولی از آنجایی که اکثر ماها قصد داریم امتحان تافل بدهیم، بهتر است متنهای TPO را انتخاب کنیم.
2⃣ قبل از shadowing، حداقل یکبار به متن گوش دهید تا به لهجه، ریتم و لحن گوینده عادت کنید.
3⃣ تکنیک shadowing ممکن است در ابتدا چالش برانگیز باشد، اما سعی کنید آنچه را که گوینده می گوید سریع و دقیق تکرار کنید. فایل صوتی را بعد از حدود ۱۰ثانیه متوقف کنید و سعی کنید جملات را با همان سرعت و لحن تکرار نمایید. (به یاد داشته باشید شما فقط تلاش می کنید صدای گوینده را تقلید کنید.)
4⃣ پس از مدتی که تمرین نموده و اعتماد به نفس تان بیشتر شد، سعی کنید صدای خود را ضبط کنید.
5⃣ به صدای ضبط شده خود گوش دهید و گفتار خود را با صدای اصلی مقایسه کنید.
✳️ روزانه حدودا دو یا سه دقیقه برای تمرین کافی میباشد. یادتون باش خودتون رو خسته نکنید و کیفیت رو فدای کمیت نکنید. و اگر هر روز تمرین کنید، همین دو سه دقیقه براتون کاملا کافی میباشد.

Now listen to part of a lecture in a Psychology class. The professor is discussing advertising strategies.
In advertising, various strategies are used to persuade people to buy products. In order to sell more products, advertisers will often try to make us believe that a product will meet our needs or desires perfectly, even if it’s not true. The strategies that they use can be subtle, friendly forms of persuasion that are sometimes hard to recognize.
In a lot of ads, repetition is a key strategy. Research shows that repeated exposure to a message, even something meaningless or untrue, is enough to make people accept it or see it in a positive light. You’ve all seen the car commercials on TV like, uh, the one that refers to its roomy cars over and over again. You know which one I mean.
This guy is driving around and keeps stopping to pick up different people. He picks up three or four people. And each time, the narrator says, “Plenty of room for friends, plenty of room for family, plenty of room for everybody.” The same message is repeated several times in the course of the commercial. Now the car, the car actually looks kind of small, it’s not a big car at all, but you get the sense that it’s pretty spacious. You’d think the viewer would reach the logical conclusion that the slogan misrepresents the product, instead, what usually happens is that when the statement “plenty of room” is repeated often enough, people are actually convinced it’s true.
Um, another strategy they use is to get a celebrity to advertise a product. It turns out that we’re more likely to accept an advertisement claim made by somebody famous, a person we admire and find appealing. We tend to think they’re trustworthy. So, uh, you might have a car commercial that features a well-known race car driver. Now, it may not be a very fast car, uh, it could even be an inexpensive vehicle with a low performance rating. But if a popular race car driver is shown driving it and saying, “I like my cars fast!” Then people would believe the car is impressive with its speed.

‼️آزمون تافل جدید‼️
سازمان ETS که برگزارکننده تستهای تافل هست، به دلیل استقبال زیاد از آزمون دولینگو و ضررهای مالی که در سال گذشته داشته، از یک تست تافل جدید با نصف قیمت خبر داده.
این آزمون جدید TOEFL Essentials نام دارد و مثل آزمون تافل اصلی، زبان رو در چهار مهارت اصلی میسنجه
(Speaking, Writing, Reading, Listening).
تفاوتهای این آزمون با آزمون اصلی تافل اینه که این تست جدید فقط محدود به ورژن آکادمیک زبان نیست و شکلهای محاورهای رو هم مورد ارزیابی قرار میده.
همچنین تعداد سوالات بیشتر ولی سادهتری داره که سریعتر میشه بهشون جواب داد (مثلا در بخش ریدینگ تافل اصلی برای پاسخ به هر سوال بین ۱ تا ۲ دقیقه زمان لازم است ولی در تست جدید زمان کمتری نیاز است).
هزینه این آزمون بین ۱۰۰ تا ۱۲۰ دلار خواهد بود و به مدت یک ساعت و نیم طول میکشه.
این آزمون جدید هم امکان برگزاری در خانه رو داره (Home edition).
در انتها هم مثل دولینگو یک ویدیوی ۵ دقیقهای
از شما ضبط میشه که در اون به دو سوال جواب میدید ولی نمرهدهی نمیشه.
و در آخر بهترین قسمتش اینه که میتونید هرچه قدر که بخواید ریپورت برای دانشگاه ها بفرستید و هیچ هزینه ای پرداخت نکنید.
❇️ لازم به ذکر است که این آزمون تافل جدید از آگوست امسال شروع به برگزاری میشه.

یه سال دیگه با کلی پستی و بلندی گذشت. اما امسال یکم فرق داشت چون یه ویروس بد اومد سراغمون و باعث شد این پستی بلندیها بیشتر بشه. ولی امسال خوبیای خودشم داشت، مثل قدر خانوادهها رو بیشتر دونستن، بیشتر مراقب هم بودن، بیشتر شدن صبرمون و فهمیدن اینکه زندگی با همهی سختیاش میتونه ادامه پیدا کنه، و اینکه ما آدمها بیش از تصورمون انعطاف پذیریم. 😊😉

از تاریخ 4 خرداد 1400 (25 می 2021) مجددا برگزار میشه و متقاضیان میتونند از تاریخ اعلام شده نسبت به ثبتنام و شرکت در آزمونها اقدام کنند.

TOEFL Practice Online
هست، در واقع نمونه آزمونهایی هست که سازمان ETS که برگزارکننده آزمونهای تافل هست، برای تمرین آزمون میفروشه.
🔹️حالا چینیهای عزیز اومدن و این تستهای نمونه رو به صورت غیر قانونی در یک اپلیکیشن ارائه کردند. اما برای دانلود و شروع به استفاده از این اپلیکیشن خیلیها مشکل دارند.
🔸️چون اولا که زبان اپلیکیشن کاملا چینی هست و دوم اینکه برای ورود باید اکانت داشته باشی و گاهی حتی بعد از ورود، همهی آزمونها رو نشون نمیده.
📍حالا چند سالی هست که ایرانیها خودمختار شدند و ورژن فارسیشو تو سایتهای مختلف در دسترس بچهها قرار دادند.
📌البته چون این کار غیر قانونی هست بعد از چند ماه این سایتها به دلیل شکایت ETS بسته میشن و سایتهای جدید جاشونو میگیرن.

‼️تی پی او هاتو نسوزون‼️
❇️ معمولا بچههایی که تازه شروع به خوندن تافل کردن، برای تمرین از TPOها استفاده میکنند که بهترین منبع تمرین هست.
✴️ اما باید یادتون باشه که اگه اول راه هستید و خیلی وقت دارید تا موقع امتحان (مثلا حدود دو سال)، TPOها رو الکی استفاده نکنید، چون برای چند ماه قبل از امتحان هیچ منبع خوبی که بتونید تواناییهاتون رو باهاش محک بزنید در دسترس ندارید.
❇️ ممکنه بگید تا یک سال بعدش که Reading و Listeningها رو یادمون رفته و فعلا از TPO استفاده کنیم تا بعد، ولی باید بدونید که اکثر بچههایی که این اشتباه رو کردند تا دو سال بعد موضوعات یادشون بوده و وقتی تست میزنن در واقع جواب درست رو حفظ هستند.
🧏🧏♀پس اگر وقت بسیار دارید از منابع دیگه شروع کنید و TPO رو بگذارید برای حداکثر یک سال آخر.
