⁣تو پست بالا در مورد کاربرد اول Make it توضیح داده شد. در این پست به معنی دوم این اصطلاح می‌پردازیم. اصطلاح Make it می‌تونه به معنی موفق شدن باشه یا به عبارت صحیح‌تر "به سختی و علی رغم مشکلات موفق شدن" که در فارسی میگیم "از پس چیزی براومدن". به چند عبارت رایج زیر توجه کنید:

عبارت Make it to the finals: به فینال رسیدن / موفق بشی که به فینال برسی

عبارت Make it out: موفق بشی بیرون بری (برای مثال شما تو خونه‌ای که در حال آتش سوزی یا فرو ریختن بود گیر کرده بودید اما با تلاش، تونستید که بیرون بیایید پس میگید I made it out)

عبارت Make it in: موفق بشی بری داخل (مثلا جلو در استادیوم خیلی ازدحام بوده و به سختی میشد که وارد استادیوم شد و بلاخره شما موفق میشید که وارد بشید پس میگید I made it in)


عبارت Make it back: موفق بشی برگردی (برای مثال به یه جای دوری بری ولی موفق بشی که به موقع به خونه برگردی)

عبارت Make it through: موفق بشی شرایطی بسیار دشوار و خطرناکی رو پشت سر بذاری (جون سالم از حادثه‌ای به در بردن یا شرایط دشوار پس از طلاق رو تحمل کردن و ...)

حالا به چند مثال زیر توجه کنید:

Example 1:
Do you think the Bulls will make it to the finals?
"به نظرت تیم Bulls می‌تونه به فینال برسه (خودش رو به فینال برسونه؟)"


Example 2:
It was the biggest earthquake I've ever experienced. I am blessed that my family made it out safe
"این بزرگ‌ترین زلزه‌ای بود که تا به حال تجربه کردم. خوشبختم که خانواده م تونستن به موقع (از خونه) سالم بیرون بیان"


Example 3:
A: That driver’s test was really terrible. I was really stressed out, and I almost went through a red light!

B: Well, did you make it?

A: Yep, I made it. I now have my license. Hey, let’s go for a drive!

B: All right, but drive slowly. I want to make it home in one piece!

آ: آزمون رانندگی خیلی افتضاح بود. بدجور تحت فشار بودم (خیلی استرس داشتم) و نزدیک بود که چراغ قرمز رو رد کنم

ب: خب، از پسش بر اومدی؟ (موفق شدی تو آزمون قبول بشی؟)

آ: آره، از پسش بر اومدم. حالا هم گواهینامه‌مو دارم. بیا بریم رانندگی!

ب: باشه ولی آروم برونی. می‌خوام سالم برسم خونه!

نکته: in one piece یعنی سالم / خسارت ندیده

⚪️ Which one should I get?
🔵 TOEFL or IELTS?

🔵تفاوت تافل و آیلتس

تافل توانایی داوطلبان را در استفاده ی کاربردی انگلیسی امریکایی (American English) می سنجد؛ این در حالیست که آزمون آیلتس، انگلیسی را با چهارچوبی بین المللی سنجیده و نتیجتا روز به روز به محبوبیت آن افزوده شده و مراکز بیشتری (حتی ایالات متحده آمریکا) این مدرک را می پذیرند. اشتباه عوام در بخش مهارت شنیداری (IELTS Listening) این است که چون آزمون توسط مراکز انگلیسی تهیه می شود، فکر می کنند لهجه ی این بخش British است در حالی که از لهجه های مختلف انگلیسی استفاده می شود (American, British, Australian).

آیا تافل فقط برای دانشگاه های آمریکا می باشد؟
خیر!طبق مطلبی که در وب سایت رسمی ای. تی. اس، (E.T.S.) گذاشته شده است، شش هزار موسسه در ۱۱۰ کشور دنیا و حدودا تمام دانشگاه های انگلستان، استرالیا، نوزلند و کانادا تافل را می پذیرند.

آیا دانشگاه های ایالات متحده آمریکا آیلتس را می پذیرند؟

بله! در سه سال اخیر،کالج ها و دانشگاه های ایالات متحده هم نتایج این آزمون را می پذیرند.
با توجه به همه ی این موارد بهتره تافل بدم یا آیلتس؟

خب باید هدفتون رو از آزمون مشخص کنین
اگه مهاجرتی میخواین برین برای آیلتس بخونین.
اگه تحصیلی بخواین برین، بنا به دانشگاه مقصد انتخاب کنین که تافل میخواین بدین یا آیلتس.
اکثر دانشگاه ها هم آیلتس رو قبول دارن هم تافل رو
تعداد خیلی محدودی دانشگاه هست که فقط تافل یا فقط آیلتس قبول میکنه.
فقط ممکنه معادل سازی این دو متعادل نباشه.یعنی گاهی آیلتس سنگینی کنه گاهی تافل. به عنوان مثال اگر دانشگاهی 100 تافل رو با 7 آیلتس معادل بگیره، آیلتس دادن بهتره.چون نمره ی 100 به بالا در تافل اصلا راحت نیس. و برعکسشم ممکنه صدق کنه، مثلا دانشگاهی 80 تافل رو با 7 یا 6.5 آیلتس معادل کنه که 80 تافل خیلی راحت تر است.بنا به requirement دانشگاه برای هر آزمون و ایچ اسکیل؛ مشخص کنین که کدوم براتون بهتره. برای این کار باید برین سایت خود دانشگاه.
مورد دیگه اینکه خودتونم ببین با کدوم بیشتر راحت ترین. برای این کار میتونین یک ماک برای آیلتس و یک ماک برای تافل بدید و بنا به نتیجه تصمیم بگیرید.
تافل راحت تره یا آیلتس؟
هیچ کدوم راحت نیس مگر با تمرین
در تافل مهارت لیسینینگ در همه ی مهارت ها هست جز ریدینگ.
یعنی شما هم در اسپیکینگ هم رایتینگ و هم خود مهارت لیسینینگ، مهارت لیسینینگ رو دارین.به این صورت که در اسپیکینگ یک صوتی رو میشنوین و بنا به اون جمع بندی میکنین در مدت زمان کم و صحبت میکنین.و یا بنا به صوتی که پخش میشه و با توجه به سوالی که نوشته شده در رایتینگ،شروع میکنین به رایتینگ نوشتن.
در واقع برای کسایی که لیسینینگ قوی ندارن مشکل زا است این کار.
تو تافل مدیریت استرس خیلی مهمتره. به خصوص در مهارت اسپیکینگ که شما با اگزمینر سروکار ندارین. بلکه با یک کامپیوتر صحبت میکنین و اگر تو تایم مقرر نتونین صحبت کنین یا مشکلی پیش بیاد برای سیستم، نمرتونو از دست میدید.
