طبعاً معانا هنا قاعدة حلوة وبسيطة يحتاج لها بس تركيز . ⬇️

I'd rather = I would rather
⏺وتستخدم في التفضيل عندما نفضل شيء على شيء.

ولها استخدامين.

الإستخدام الأول : لما يكون معانا فاعل واحد بالجملة فقط.
وفي هذه الحالة الصيغة تكون .

1⃣ I'd rather + المصدر

➡️We say ‘I’d rather do one thing than do another’:
نقول : أنا أود فعل شيء ما افضل من فعل شيء آخر .
مثال : ⬇️
I’d rather stay at home tonight than go to the cinema.

I'd rather make dinner now.

🔽❌ The negative is I’d rather not …’ :

❌ حالة النفي تكون : I'd rather not + V1
أي أن كلمة not تكون قبل الفعل ⬇️

I’m tired. I’d rather not go out this evening, if you don’t mind.

الحالة الثانية ⬇️

I’d rather somebody did something
أود أن شخص آخر قام بشيء ما.

We say ‘I’d rather you did something’ ✅
(not I’d rather you do):❌

وفي هذه الحالة يكون معانا فاعل آخر بعد
I'd rather
⬇️
I'd rather you + V2
I'd rather she + V2
I'd rather he + V2
I'd rather they + V2

في هذا الحالة تكون القاعدة

➡️I'd rather + فاعل آخر + V2 التصريف الثاني

We use the past (drove, did etc.....) here, but the meaning is present not past.
هنا نقدر نستخدم الماضي ولكن المعنى مضارع وليس ماضي.
مثال ؛ ⬇️
I'd rather you made dinner now.

I'd rather she ate the sandwich.

I'd rather you drove the car.

في حالة النفي❌ ⬇️
I’d rather + فاعل + didn’t + V1
⬇️
I’d rather you didn’t tell anyone what I said.

I'd rather she didn't know what happened.

بإختصار
🛑اذا شفت الفراغ مباشرة بعد I'd rather
تختار مضارع.

I'd rather......... home.

go ✅
Went
واذا شفت بعد I'd rather أي ضمير نختار V2 ماضي.🛑

I'd rather you ........ home.
