A Global Construction client of mine are currently looking for several freelance contractors with Electrical backgrounds to join them on a contract basis at one of their sites in the Netherlands on a long term basis

Job description / tasks and responsibilities:
Electrical PM
· Manage and drive the design and implementation of multiple projects at once;
· Manage the project procurement activities (tender documents, tendering, negotiation, contracting and invoicing) for packages and ensure that the Client’s requirements/targets are met;
· Attend steering committees and prepare the associated documents to convince the management and the stakeholders;
· Manage and monitor the time schedule, the budget and the performances associated with the projects
· Manage the technical-commercial optimization of the project installations;
· Manage the requirements of the O&M Client’s teams and monitor Client’s satisfaction;
· Control the strict application of the scope of supply and manage the project scope variations related to the project
· Define the tasks and delegate them amongst the people involved and empower them to carry out the tasks;
· Take care of internal contacts with the competence centers and support departments (procurement, legal, finance, IT, risk management, communication, …);
· Organize meetings with the Client and develop a partnership approach with the Client;
· Coordinate the lead engineers of each discipline and verify the adequate integration of the various specialities in the project;
Education/Experience:
· Electrical/Mechanical engineer; or equivalent by experience;
· Proven industry experience in Electrical Buildings (5 to 10 years)
· Ideally at least 2 years as a project manager or deputy project manager with technical background

· Good knowledge of Fire Detection Legislation
· Technical experience in electrical design
· Fluent in English
· Fluent in Dutch
· Excellent organizational skills
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Electrical Engineer / E&I

On a daily basis, you’ll carry out various engineering tasks, such as performing calculations to ensure our systems meet the global safety standards and collaborating with technicians and computer programmers to solve emerging issues. You’ll also research on manufacturing processes and analyze data and trends to create new products.
Ultimately, you will improve our company’s products and processes and contribute to its growth.
Responsibilities
Design, control, and implement electrical systems and products
Develop manufacturing processes according to global engineering codes and standards
Manage engineering projects and deliver them on time
Define customer needs and requirements
Ensure that installations and applications are in line with customer needs and safety standards
Collaborate with engineers and technicians to design and apply new system processes
Perform quality and performance analysis on new and legacy IT systems
Summarize data and report on test results
Examine needs for new equipment, calculate costs and help prepare budgets
Monitor maintenance and inspection plans
Requirements and skills
Proven expertise as an electrical engineer
Hands-on experience using design and calculation software
Deep knowledge of electrical manufacturing processes
Understanding of electrical engineering codes and safety standards
Problem-solving abilities
Attention to detail
Strong organisational and communication skills
A degree in Electrical Engineering; M.Sc. is a plus
