I've been in the trenches for a long time, and there are a few hard-earned rules I want to share:

1. Don't re-enter coins you already profited from.
When you play it well and take profit, the urge to chase more can kick in. Most of the time, I stopped there and was fine. But the few times I chased, ended up losing everything I had made, and even the original setup. Stick to your wins, even if they’re small. Profit is profit.

2. Don't over-hodl.
Holding a coin too long in this market is suicide, unless you’ve got a solid thesis. Even then, if you’re up, take the gains and move on. I rarely hold longer than 7 days these days. Get in, get out, repeat.

3. Have a group to share plays with.
Sometimes you’ll find a gem but won’t be sure. Having a group of solid trench warriors you trust gives you extra eyes, validation, or the opposite. That second opinion is gold.

4. Only play when there’s volume.
If the market is dead, step away. No volume = no money. Close the laptop, chill, build something in web2, or just rest. The next wave will come. Be ready for it, not burnt out.

5. Only use money you can afford to lose.
If you’re scared of losing it all, you’ve already lost. This game is full of risk, and if you're new, be careful. The trenches are wild right now.

6. Use KOLs as exit liquidity.
You’ll often find coins before the influencers do. When you see them start shilling, that’s your cue to exit. Sure, it might 10x after, but it might also crash. Secure the bag and move on. Don’t wait around hoping for that mythical 1000x.
