Our Stories Update is not yet release, but we're already working on new features and tools you can use in your Engagement Groups to make them even better!
This time, we're talking about another important aspect studied by the Instagram's Algorithm: Saves 📍
❔ A "Save" is the action to store an Instagram photo in your "saved folder" in your Instagram account

❕ How would it work?
To actually check the "Save" operation, the user will be requested to send a screenshot of his "Saves" folder in the private chat with the bot, after dropping his link in the group (first he will be checked as usual for Likes / Comments, and then he will get a message requesting the screenshot).
This screenshot will be matched by artificial intelligence with the list of photos in the list, trying to find as many photos as possible.
Since a single screenshot can contain at most 12 / 15 pictures, the system will try to find as many as possible, allowing the user to post if at least 90% of the photos (with a cap to 15) are in his screenshot.

Our aim is to add this feature completely for free at the simple cost of "daily requests" for every performed image matching (1 per matched photo, since it needs to connect to instagram to download each photo in the list).

Thanks to the help of an expert, we reworked our webserver settings to deeply optimize it, increasing response speed and reducing requests delay.
Especially in this period of Instagram and Telegram updates, a stronger webserver is a must have!
🔆 Daily Requests Limit Auto-Consumption
You now have the possibility to disable auto-consumption of credits when you reach your daily limit of requests.
Instead of consuming a credit to increase the daily requests, the bot will simply stop, allowing YOU to decide whether or not to consume credits.
On top of this, credits are now consumed immediately and not every 10 minutes as it used to do, to guarantee a flawless work without interruptions

We have a scheduled maintenance planned for Tuesday July the 6th at 22:00 Rome time.
During the maintenance, we'll shutdown proxies gradually in batches. The estimated downtime is 5-20 minutes per batch.
+ What are we going to do?
We'll be moving the hardware in the server room in order to optimize the airflow, as we prepare for the installation of an additional AC unit that will take place the following day.
No additional downtime is expected during the second AC unit install.

Near 12:00 (UTC+1) Instagram performed an update that changed the number of results in the following API calls:
- Get Likes (likes list)
- Get Comments (comments list)
Because of that, the system in various situations obtained a wrong list of likes and comments under the photos (Requesting the last 200 comments it was receiving the last 50, requesting the last 300 likes it was receiving the last 50)
Since it wasn't seeing the missing likes/comments, it was reporting correct actions as "wrong" ones.
✅ This problem has been resolved and the instagram API has been updated
