Tonight an unexpected Telegram update caught us off guard, making the bot offline during the whole night.

This wasn't planned, and being Friday night I wasn't even awake to face this issue, therefor I am really sorry. I will be looking for a night-assistant that can fix this issues if they ever occur again.

Also, our server switch is 100% ready, we are just looking for a timeframe where we can move the whole bot.

That switch should be the last offtime for a big while:)

What happened during last weeks?

In last weeks we didn't work much on new features, we rather preferred focusing on small improvements and upgrades.


🖥 New HQ Server
We moved all our infrastructure on a new, much powerful and stronger server.
This will guarantee us a 100% uptime, with faster leech checking and better overall stability.
This requested a maintenance of ~2 hours, but it's definitely worth it!


⚡ Flash update to links
We reworked the link system in various pages to replace links without www. with links starting with www, to allow Android users to open it directly in the app.
This has been requested due to the last Instagram app update, that ignores links without www that gets opened in the browser.

This new tab, that you can see in the sidebar of engagebot.pro, contains everything related to messages. In particular, Global Messages and Periodic Ads


📣 Improved "Periodic Ads" Management
Following your suggestions, I deeply improved the periodic ads auto-delete system, and you are now able to select 2 new options:

- Delete based on group
This gives you the possibility to select in which group you want to automatically delete old ads

- Delete only "Same" AD
This gives you the possibility to decide to delete only ads of the same type, keeping different ads in the group.


💬 Group-Specific commands now working in the Periodic Ads
You can now use the "list" and "rules" placeholder also in periodic ads, that will be replaced with the link to the Group-Specific rules and list.


⚡⚡ Faster Autodrop Checking ⚡⚡
Autodrop users are now checked every 30 minutes instead of every 1 hour, giving you a faster speed in detecting new photos, Completely 🆓

🚫 New Error Message: Block Duplicated Photos
As requested in this poll, I decided to add a new option in group settings, that will allow you to send a custom error if someone tries to drop a photo that already is in the list


🏆 New TOP 100 in the tops page
I added 2 special "Top 100" in the tops page, by group and global:

- Top 100 Premium users, that will contain the premium/whitelisted users that dropped the most in the group

- Top 100 Leeching users, that will contain the users that tried to drop most times, and failed because of leeching

📸 Instagram is giving us some troubles connecting to servers.
It seems that the main servers we were using are slowing down, so the bot sometimes is giving "wrong format error"

👍 Instagram is already resolving the error (if you try, it should be working good now)
