e.g. I'm writing to inform you that mom's not feeling well recently.

🗨 Closing remarks in informal letters may include:

🔹e) the reason why you must end the letter
e.g. well, that's all the news for now.
🔹f) greetings to the person's family/ friends
e.g. send my regards to your lovely sister.
🔹g) wishes, a promise (e.g. to write again soon), an invitation, etc.
e.g. I hope to see you at my goodbye party.
🔹h) a request to the person to reply soon
e.g. Please let me know if you're going to join us there.
