Simple tips can help you determine if a number is evenly divisible. There are various tips, and we are gonna look through them one by one.

Dividing by 9️⃣.

A number is divisible by 9 if the sum of all the digits in a number is divisible by 9.

📝 Example:

6️⃣3️⃣9️⃣ ➗ 9️⃣

6️⃣ ➕3️⃣ ➕ 9️⃣ = 1️⃣8️⃣, which is divisible by 9️⃣.

Now determine if the numbers in the following diagrams are divisible by 9 and then see if you're right:

⭕️ Is this number divisible by 9️⃣?
4️⃣7️⃣7️⃣ (Yes, because 4+7+7=18, which is divisible by 9)

⭕️ This one?
6️⃣8️⃣9️⃣4️⃣ (Yes, because 6+8+9+4=27, which is divisible by 9)
