๐ต INTRODUCTION
๐นWe use non-defining relative clauses to give extra information about the person or thing. It is not necessary information. We donโt need it to understand who or what is being referred to.
โช๏ธ We always use commas to separate a non-defining relative clause to the main clause and the rest of the sentence (if there is).
โช๏ธ My mother, who is very kind to me, wants to see me next month.
NOTE
We do not use (that) to introduce a non-defining relative clause:
โ My mother, that is very kind to me, wants to see me next month.
