๐ŸŽ‰ Welcome to the English for IT Camp 2025!
Weโ€™re excited to share that the English for IT Camp officially began on July 28 (Monday) and will continue for 17 days of immersive learning and collaboration across five sites of Uzbekistan - Tashkent, Samarkand, Bukhara, Fergana, and Nukus.

This dynamic summer camp is designed to equip young participants with essential skills in English, information technology, and leadership skills - key tools for success in the modern world. Over the course of the program, students will:

๐Ÿ’ป Strengthen their spoken and written English, especially in tech-related topics
๐Ÿง  Build digital literacy and foundational IT knowledge
๐ŸŒ Connect with foreign mentors and work on soft skills
๐ŸŽ™ Participate in guest speaker sessions with professionals from the IT and educational sectors
๐Ÿค Take part in interactive lessons, group projects, and real-life communication practice

As a bonus, all students received swag bags, notebooks, learning kits, and T-shirts to keep their motivation high and their experience memorable ๐ŸŽโœจ

As part of the English for IT program, series of guest lecture sessions across all five sites - Tashkent, Samarkand, Bukhara, Fergana, and Nukus - where local and international professionals from the fields of technology, education, and communication are sharing their knowledge, stories, and career journeys with our participants.

These sessions give students a chance to:

๐Ÿ’ซ Exploring U.S. Education: Guest Session with U.S. Embassy Tashkent

๐Ÿ“… On August 6, 2025, as part of the Guest Speaker Series of the English for IT Summer Camp, participants had a chance to connect with Jamila Nasridinova, Education Outreach Coordinator at the U.S. Embassy in Tashkent, during a special hybrid session. The session was held in person in Tashkent and streamed online for participants in Samarkand, Bukhara, Fergana, and Nukus โ€” ensuring all students across five cities could take part.

๐Ÿ’ก From learning about U.S. university programs and scholarships to asking their most pressing questions, students gained valuable insights into the wide range of educational opportunities available through U.S. Government-supported exchange and study programs.

๐Ÿ“Œ This session is one of many inspiring engagements bringing global perspectives into the classroom โ€” and encouraging students to dream bigger and plan ahead for their academic futures.

๐Ÿ“… On August 7 and 9, 2025, as part of the Guest Speaker Series of the English for IT Summer Camp, participants at the Samarkand site enjoyed two inspiring sessions with leading professionals in the tech industry.

๐ŸŽฎ On August 7, Khakimov Kahramon Akramovich spoke on the theme โ€œGamification: Engaging through Play,โ€ sharing how game-based approaches can boost creativity, motivation, and problem-solving in both education and business.

๐Ÿ–ฅ๏ธ On August 9, Gulamov Shakhram delivered a session on โ€œIT Technologies and 3D Design: Future Professions,โ€ highlighting emerging career paths and the skills needed to thrive in tomorrowโ€™s digital world.

๐Ÿ’ซ Automating for Growth: Guest Session with Zafar Khoshimov

๐Ÿ“… On August 12, 2025, participants at the Tashkent site of the English for IT Summer Camp had the opportunity to meet Zafar Khoshimov, CEO of Korzinka, during an inspiring guest session titled โ€œAutomating Business to Focus on Business.โ€

๐Ÿ’ก Drawing from his experience leading one of Uzbekistanโ€™s most successful retail chains, Mr. Khoshimov shared how strategic automation can free up time, improve efficiency, and allow businesses to focus on innovation and growth. Participants gained practical insights into how technology can drive both operational excellence and creative problem-solving in any industry.
