الاتجاهات الاربعة The Four Directions
تستخدم الاتجاهات عند الاشارة الى اتجاه معين و هذه قائمة بالاتجاهات الرئيسية :
north - شمال
south - جنوب
east - شرق
west - غرب

الاتجاهات الفرعية
ويستخدم هذا النوع من الاتجاهات لتحديد مكان محدد لمنطقة معينة:
north - east الشمال الشرقي
north - west الشمال الغربي
south - west الجنوب الغربي
south - east الجنوب الشرقي

فعل العمل To do
يستعمل هذا النوع من الأفعال لإعطاء معلومات اكثر عن الفعل الرئيسي , حيث يساعد في تكوين ازمنة الفعل المختلفة ويساعد في صياغة السؤال والنفي , ويصرف فعل العمل حسب الفاعل وازمنة الفعل , وهذا تصريف الفعل في حالة المضارع والماضي والمستقبل ...

- التصريف الثالث لفعل العمل (do) هو (done) .

- عندما يضاف (ing) الى (do , does , did ) تصبح (doing) .

- يمكن ان يكون فعل العمل فعلاً رئيسياً اذا جاء بدون فعل رئيسي مثل:
He would need to do his exams before he went.

يلفظ التركيب Ture كالرمز اللفظي "تشر"
وهذه أمثلة عليه :
Nature - طبيعة - نيتشر
Picture - صورة - بكتشر
Structure - بناء،تركيب - ستركتشر
Lecture - محاضرة - ليكتشر
Culture - ثقافة - كلتشر
Future - المستقبل - فيوتشر
