Google just announced huge Gemini updates, a Sora competitor, AI agents, and more.

The most impressive announcements at Google I/O: 👇

Project Astra: An AI agent that can see AND hear what you do live in real-time.

2. AI teammates: AI agents that can answer questions on emails, meetings, and other data within Workspace.

This example showcased the agent organizing all receipts that land in your inbox into a spreadsheet continuously.

3. Veo: A video generation model that generates high-quality videos in 1080P from text, image, and video prompts.

4. Google Search: Expanded AI Overviews, advanced planning capabilities, and AI-organized search results.

Users can also now ask questions with video, allowing Search to analyze visual content and provide helpful AI Overviews.

5. Search multi-step reasoning: Allows Gemini to break down questions and speed up research.

Using Gemini will allow Search to execute steps through agents, such as planning, maintaining, and updating trip itineraries.

6. Gemini 1.5 Pro updates: a massive 2M context window extension and enhanced performance in code, logic, and image understanding.

Reminder, they have up to 10M already in preview.

7. Imagen 3: The next version of Googl'es text-to-image model with better detail, text generation, and natural language understanding than its predecessor.

8. VideoFX: A text-to-video tool that features a new 'storyboard' interface for scene-by-scene creation and the ability to add music to generations.

The tool is launching in a ‘private preview’ in the U.S. for select creators.

9. Gemini Live: Allowing users to speak and converse with Gemini in near real-time.

10. Gemini 1.5 Flash: A new lightweight AI model optimized for speed and efficiency with a context window of 1M tokens.

11. Gemma 2: the next generation of Google’s open-source models that can run on a single TPU or GPU.

12. Gems: Gemini Advanced subscribers can soon create customized personas called ‘Gems’ from a simple text description, similar to ChatGPT GPTs.
