💬 In the evening of April 1, Israel’s Air Force struck the building of the Consulate of Iran in Damascus. As a result, the building was completely destroyed. A number of people, including diplomats, are reported to have been killed and wounded.
❗️ We resolutely condemn this attack on Iran’s Consulate in Syria.
We consider completely unacceptable any encroachments on the diplomatic and consular buildings, the immunity of which is guaranteed by the Vienna conventions.
⚠️ We consider it necessary for all responsible members of the international community to announce their clear-cut position and a relevant legal assessment of such actions. We strongly urge the Israeli leadership to give up the practice of provocative power actions on the territory of Syria and other neighbouring countries. This practice is fraught with extremely dangerous consequences for the entire region.

💬 April 3 marks two years since the Zelensky regime and its Western handlers staged a bloody mass murder of the people in the town of Bucha, Kiev Region, allegedly by Russian servicemen, which turned out to be a botched job.
However, Western politicians and the media scrambled to spread this falsehood.
This provocation was a put-up job and a staged provocation which was clear from the onset. The Russian side has refuted these allegations many times. We will now refute them once again. During the time the Russian Armed Forces were in Bucha until March 30, 2022, its residents moved freely around the town and used mobile phones and the internet.
❗️ There were no complaints about the Russian servicemen’s actions during that period, which was publicly confirmed the day after our units left that town.

💬 President of the International Olympic Committee Thomas Bach made a telltale admission to pranksters.
This is what he said:
“Now those who support [the Russian Government] cannot take part. We have a special review panel at the level of the IOC which is working with an independent company, and they are monitoring the internet, media and public declarations. So, if an athlete said something somewhere, he won’t be able to take part in the Games. We also offered the Ukrainian side, and not only offered but asked them to provide us with their knowledge about behaviour of such athletes or officials. And they cannot take part.”
Thomas Bach entered into a political, administrative and apparently criminal conspiracy with one particular side to remove strong sports rivals at international competitions.
☝️ I hope international sports journalists will not ignore this egregious situation. It seems to me it is a Watergate for the IOC as a whole and personally for Bach.

It will be recalled that Russia and China submitted the draft treaty to the Conference on Disarmament in February 2008. Mr Plumb dismissed this initiative as a mere “political ploy,” claiming that adherence to the deal would not be verifiable.
The US is an ardent opponent of the Russian initiatives on the prevention of an arms race in space (PARS). Its strong opposition to the above Russian-Chinese draft treaty has long been an integral part of US foreign policy. In this context, Mr Plumb’s statements are hardly surprising.

Благодаря освобождению Одессы Красной армии удалось прервать снабжение Крымской группировки немецких войск и открыть путь для дальнейшего наступления в направлении Балкан.
В течение всего времени оккупации упорное сопротивление гитлеровцам оказывали местные жители, которые после захвата города ушли в катакомбы. За время войны одесские подпольщики и партизаны уничтожили свыше пяти тысяч вражеских солдат и офицеров, 248 автомашин, спасли от угона в Германию около 20 тыс. советских граждан.
Освобождение Одессы было отмечено в Москве 24 залпами из 324 артиллерийских орудий.
🎖 27 соединениям и частям, наиболее отличившимся в ходе операции, было присвоено почётное наименование Одесских. За героизм и отвагу, проявленные в боях за город, 14 человек были удостоены звания Героя Советского Союза, более двух тыс. человек награждены орденами и медалями СССР.
1 мая 1945 года Одесса была объявлена городом-героем, а 8 мая 1965 года — получила это звание официально.
