❗️ В целях реализации Меморандума о взаимопонимании между Уполномоченным по правам человека в Российской Федерации (УПЧ РФ) и Омбудсменом Намибии, подписанного в Москве 19 октября 2023 г., в Виндхуке 28-31 января с.г. находилась делегация УПЧ РФ во главе с первым заместителем руководителя рабочего аппарата Уполномоченного И.В.Чечельницким.
🇳🇦 В ходе встречи 29 января российских представителей с Омбудсменом Намибии Б.Дякугой был подписан Протокол о взаимодействии между Уполномоченным по правам человека в Российской Федерации и Омбудсменом Намибии.
🤝 30 января в Посольстве представители УПЧ РФ провели личный прием граждан из числа проживающих в Намибии российских соотечественников, которые были подробно ознакомлены с работой УПЧ РФ, получили ответы на вопросы, в т.ч. касающиеся защиты прав и интересов росграждан за рубежом.

I also extend the deepest condolences to his family, the people and the Government of the Republic of Namibia.
H.E. Dr. Hage Geingob has always been highly respected in Russia as an outstanding African leader who has done a lot for his country as well as made a great personal contribution to the development of friendly relations between Russia and Namibia.
Russian people are grieving with Namibians at this mourning moment.

💬 According to the Military Commandant’s Office of the Russian Federation’s Lugansk People’s Republic, on Saturday, February 3, the Kiev regime launched rockets at civilian infrastructure in the city of Lisichansk, destroying a bakery. This is yet another cruel terrorist attack perpetrated by the Ukrainian neo-Nazis.
At the time of the attack, the bakery was filled with dozens of local civilians, as is usual on Saturdays, including elderly people and families with children, who had come to buy bread and food. The Ukrainian army chiefs who ordered the attack were well aware of this and acted deliberately.
The building was completely destroyed. The Russian Emergencies Ministry estimates that there may be up to 40 people trapped under the debris. At least 15 civilians have been confirmed dead.
