For The Crimes of The Dictator Regime:

From the beginning of establishment, this War loving regime kept on feeding the wealth and resources of Iran to the central cities, depriving the smaller cities near the border.
Balouch People are living in one of the most deprived provinces near the border; the province being “Sistan and Balouchestan”.
They must fight for their most basic rights such as the right to have access to Clean, filtered water, Sanitary products, drugs and medical equipments. Furthermore, air pollution is a serious issue in this province which creates daily struggles.
This Discriminatory regime has not issued a birth certificate for Balouch people or any other form of identity certification for them with the vain excuse of stopping them from communicating with the citizens of other countries entering from this province into the country. This also means that their right to education and medical treatment is taken away from them. A more horrifying meaning can be the regime massacring Balouchs and not counting them in their statistics.
Discrimination and alienating within people are the focus of the Islamic Republic Regime which has created a huge obstacle in the way of People’s unity. Their sole purpose of doing so is to stay in the position of power just like the last 43 years.
This tactic is not only for different ethnicities, but also for non-Muslims and other people with different beliefs from what the regime holds as an ideology.
In the last few weeks, “Zahedan” has been painted red with the blood of innocent children, women and men who were in the protests.
The same people who tried to build a better Iran despite the harsh and unjust conditions and difficulties they are currently living in.
When the regime sent their barbaric suppressive forces armed with heavy weapons in the streets to stop people from protesting even by Murdering them, Balouch people only had stones to defend themselves with.
These are the same people whom the dictator calls “the enemy”, “traitors”, or “people who are trying to tear Iran apart” and issues a command to slaughter them in the streets; even for the eight-year-old girl who was going home.
To fully explain the crimes of this regime we must talk about September 30th, 2022.
Amidst the wide protests to Mahsa Amini’s death and the Sexual assault of a commander in chief to a fifteen-year-old Balouch girl, several people from Zahedan marched towards the police station in the city, protested in front of the building and chanted anti-regime slogans. Some of the angry protestors threw stones at the police department’s building. In response to people’s protests, the IRGC who were positioned in the police department earlier shoot the protestors. After that some of the regime’s agents who were positioned around the Mosalla Mosque in Zahedan started shooting the people who were praying in the mosque and killed numerous amounts of people.
With complete Internet Shutdown in Zahedan, the regime was successful in stopping the news from spreading so that the world won’t know about their crimes.
Per the reports of local press, at least 90 were killed and 350 people were severely injured.
The crimes of the regime against Balouch people did not end here. Four weeks later, the IRGC forces started massacring people who came to the streets in peaceful protest right after their prayers in the mosque. Heavy machinery and automatic arsenals were used to kill everyone in their vicinity, including a 12-year-old child. Dozens were horribly injured. There is no record of the number of official deaths.
Iranian People are asking the world and the responsible organizations to not remain silent and to help us in our cause. We are the voices of Revolution fighting with one of the most anti-human, barbaric regimes to have ever existed in history. Be our Voice.

Mahsa Amini was reportedly beaten by the “morality police” before her death. As a result, Iranian people have risen up to seek justice for Mahsa. At the same time, Iranian women are fighting to free themselves from the compulsory hijab, which is imposed on them by the Islamic Republic of Iran. The protests have spread all over Iran with Iranian women and men shouting ‘Woman, Life, Freedom’ and many protesters have been shot by the police. The Iranian government has now blocked social media and shut off the internet in some parts of Iran. Iranian people have limited communication with the outside world. As a constituent, I am urging you to take prompt action and speak about the police brutality against people in Iran. Iranian people have been chanting “Woman, Life, Freedom”. The protesters are not violent, they only seek freedom and equal rights for women. I urge you to use your position in the parliament to project the voice of the Iranian people.

This is something that’s particularly important to me as I am an Iranian-{Canadian/Amercian/Australian/etc} (woman). Living in a democratic country is all I dream of for my sisters in Iran.

I am asking you to take the following steps to address my concerns: 

- Raise this issue in Parliament/Senate/Congress through a speech, and ask all the Reps/MPs to speak about the police brutality against Iranian people in Iran.

- Challenge Iranian government officials on killing the protesters despite their blatant claims of caring for human rights.

- Speak up about the violation of human rights and women's rights in Iran with your colleagues and raise awareness and encourage them to also speak about what is happening in Iran.

- Attend the protests organized by the Iranian community in (the location and date) If there is a protest in your area

- Talk about this issue in the media and issue a media release on the topic.
Support the closing of the Islamic Republic’s embassies and dismissal of its diplomatic staff.

- Please do not accept the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI) or Maryam Rajavi, as our representative. She is not our leader or our representative and she is only using Iran's situation to gain power. Please do not give her any platform to speak for us.

In your response, I would like you to outline the ways you intend to address this on my behalf. If you cannot address this personally, I request that you escalate my letter to the relevant Minister or department. 

Please do keep me informed of the progress made.  I look forward to your prompt response.

1. No incident or trend can and should not
undermine the memory and name of martyr General Hajj Qasem Soleimani and the nation's great uprising in the funeral ceremony of the holy body of that eternal leader.

2. The accident of the passenger plane crash
and the martyrdom of a group of dear compatriots following the occurrence of a human error are deeply upsetting and the events leading to this incident should be thoroughly investigated. While offering our condolences to the families of victims in Iran, Ukraine, Canada and Sweden, we emphasize on careful investigation and fair treatment and making necessary corrections in processes.

3. The occurrence of such a mistake in such
a sensitive war condition caused by the hostile and criminal government of the United States does not in any way diminish the greatness, strength and authority of the armed forces and the proud and heroic IRGC.

4. We consider the terrorist regime of the
United States and its president to be the main cause of all this unjust bloodshed, and we insist on justice and revenge for all these crimes until the complete expulsion
of the American occupiers from the region.

I am certain you are aware that Qasem Soleimani was sanctioned by the United Nations and the European Union, and was declared a terrorist by the United States in 2005.

Dr Simforoosh does not represent the people of Iran in any shape or form, and rather has been involved with organisations working to oppress people. This award should not go to such person.

Your invitation to the ambassador of the Islamic Republic for the Nobel Peace Prize ceremony cannot be considered the same as the title of the ceremony.

Iran's regime is a dictator and dangerous for the whole world, an example can be seen in the war in Ukraine, this fact is not hidden from anyone. Can the ambassador of such a bloodthirsty dictator represent anything other than war and bloodshed?
So why should someone who represents war be present at the peace ceremony that is being held?

The Nobel Peace Prize for the year 2022 was given to the human rights advocate Ales Bialiatski from Belarus, the Russian human rights organization Memorial, and the Ukrainian human rights organization Center for Civil Liberties. One of the arguments (translated from Norwegian) given from the Committee was that:
‘’The Prize winners represents the civil society in their home countries. They have through many years fronted the right to critique power, as well as fronting basic human rights for the citizens of their countries. They have marked themselves exceptionally in their efforts to document crimes of war, human rights violations and the abuse of power. Together, they represent the importance of civil society for peace and democracy”.
This passage from the Committee begs the question: when this is the very reasoning for this year’s Prize, isn’t it quite paradoxical that the Islamic Republic's ambassador is invited as a guest to the Peace Prize ceremony 10th of December in Oslo?

How can we offer a prize to someone supporting the values and work of the institute, while at the same time having invited guests that desperately and cowardly fights those values? Many see the faults in this logic because it delegitimizes the handing over of an important symbolic prize. For example, the Swedes see this, as they have decided that the ambassadors from Russia, Belarus and Islamic Republic are not invited to the Nobel Prize Ceremony.
When the Norwegian Nobel Institute invites the ambassador of Iran as the official and accepted representative of one of the most brutal and repressive regimes in the world to the Nobel Peace Prize, it means that it still does not believe in what they are doing and cannot distinguish peace from war.

We demand that the Norwegian Nobel Committee, The Norwegian Nobel Institute and their affiliated partners withdraw the invitation given to the Islamic Republic's ambassador in relation to this year’s ceremony for the Nobel Peace Prize 10th of December 2022 in Oslo.

On September 14, 2022, a 22-year-old Iranian woman, Mahsa Amini, was arrested by so called morality police for “improperly” wearing her hijab. Amini was taken to morality police headquarters for an “education and orientation” class. A few hours later, her brother learned that she had been taken to the hospital. On September 15, Iran’s Police Information Center claimed that Amini had suffered a cardiac seizure while in custody and was transferred to the hospital. Shortly after, a video was released which showed Amini entering the “orientation class” and suddenly falling to the ground. Tragically, Amini passed away on September 16.
 
Amini’s death has led to protests across Iran against Tehran’s security forces and the Iranian government. Since the beginning of these protests in September, more than 290 people including minors have been killed all over the country by direct gun shooting at peaceful protestors by terrorist IRGC (Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps) group; thousands of people including children, have been brutally beaten and thousand more were arrested illegally and are still being detained and tortured in the regime’s prisons.
 
It is only humane to support the Iranian people's movement against their terrorist regime. Additionally, supporting the Iranian people's cause for freedom is closely aligned with the vision and mission of your administration, your party, and the United States of America.
We have witnessed you and your fellow elected officials take a stand to support freedom of speech and freedom of expression many times throughout the past years. Please, do not turn a blind eye to the unfolding atrocities in Iran today.
 
As you know, The Islamic Republic of Iran has no active embassy in the United States and the only official office representing the regime is The Interests Section of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the United States, located at 1250 23rd St NW, Washington, DC 20037.
 
In accordance with all said above, hereby I ask that, as the Mayor of the District of Columbia, you act and show your support for the Iranian people by commemorative renaming of the related segment of 23rd St NW in DC to MAHSA AMINI St. under the Code of the District of Columbia. This segment of 23rd St is located between M St NW and N St NW.
 
I ask for your support to fulfil this request as this regime does not represent the people of Iran in any way. This commemorative renaming to Amini’s name who has become the symbol of this movement worldwide, is a strong message to the Iranian government and is a perfect way to show the world that Washington, DC and The United States of America stand with the Iranian people and their rights.
 
The American population of Iranian descent all over the United States contributes positively to American society in every sector and now I hope you honor my trust in you as a US citizen through this supporting action.
