🤓 AI Uncovers a Serious PHP Vulnerability

As part of its Patch the Planet initiative, OpenAI used AI to discover a major flaw in PHP. Researcher Calif found further vulnerabilities with GPT-5.6 Sol, and Wiz independently uncovered two more.

Over the following two months, OpenAI, Wiz, Cloudflare, and other teams worked with PHP developers to prepare patches before disclosing the flaws publicly.

OpenAI has pledged $1 billion in subsidized Daybreak access for security organizations with limited resources. The company expects AI to uncover many more vulnerabilities in the coming months.
