🚩 Echo Protocol Is Shutting Down

Echo Protocol (ECHO), a platform that brings BTC into DeFi, is closing after failing to recover from an $80 million hack. New deposits and loans are no longer available, and interest has stopped accruing.

Borrowers must repay their loans by mid-November. Any outstanding debt after that may be covered by liquidating collateral to repay lenders. Users can still repay loans, withdraw assets and close positions. The Aptos-to-B² bridge will remain open for aBTC withdrawals.
