On-chain analyst MLM has refuted claims about the KAITO token unlock, stating that the distribution schedule—slated to begin in February—has not actually started. According to his analysis, roughly 88% of the total KAITO supply remains held in wallets associated with the project team.

Just one day post-launch, 66 million MOVE tokens flooded the market—an event that triggered immediate backlash. Binance swiftly suspended the market maker’s account. By May 2025, co-founder Rushi Manche had stepped down.
In June 2026, the project shifted direction, repositioning itself around cross-border payments and stablecoin settlements, citing regulatory-compliant payment infrastructure in the U.S., Canada, and the EU. The pivot, however, wasn’t enough to secure its future.
