Venice (VVV) has introduced an update to the tokenomics for both VVV and DIEM. Starting now, 5% of every API credit purchase—equal to $5 for every $100 spent—will be automatically allocated to buy back VVV from the open market and permanently burn it.
This deflationary mechanism was previously in place for Pro, Pro+, and Max subscriptions. Now, it’s being extended to include API users as well. All related transactions will be transparently tracked and displayed separately on the burn statistics page.
In addition, the target supply of DIEM will increase from 38,000 to 40,000 tokens.

On-chain analyst MLM has refuted claims about the KAITO token unlock, stating that the distribution schedule—slated to begin in February—has not actually started. According to his analysis, roughly 88% of the total KAITO supply remains held in wallets associated with the project team.
So far, only 2.5% of tokens have been sent to the Sablier protocol, possibly for future distribution, but no tokens have been released yet. A significant unlock of 17.6 million KAITO tokens—valued at approximately $17 million—is expected this week.
