MetaMask has launched Agent Wallet — a non-custodial crypto wallet designed to let AI agents autonomously perform transactions on Ethereum and other EVM-compatible networks. The wallet handles swaps, liquidity provision, perpetual futures, and event-based contracts.
Users retain control by setting spending caps, defining autonomy levels, and approving which protocols the agents can interact with. Right now, the feature is in early access for a select group of 200 traders and developers, with a wider public release scheduled for this summer.
