New versions of the Elumicate Smart Vision App 📱 have been released for both Android and IOS.
Updates include:
- Ability for IOS users to stream from device
- Screen dimming functionality
- Fix NFT id display glitch
- Update NFT map
- Text & message updates

While doing final preparations for camera verification and rewards launch, we've decided to implement additional security measures which will require an App update in order to regain login functionalities on your devices.

The Web App will be updated and working very quickly however Mobile Apps are dependent on their platform's approval process and it may take up to 48hrs for the updated app to be available for download.

New App versions have been approved and released for both IOS and Android. Please update at your earliest convenience.
This is a required update as older versions will no longer allow login functionalities.

Instructions to transfer over your tokens from the BETA platform to the new platform.

1. Log in to the portal at miner.elumicate.com with your relevant metamask wallet.

2. Navigate to the "My Account" page.

3. Enter the email address matching your new account (even if your email address is already there you will still need to update it for the transfer to take effect).

4. Confirm your email with the confirmation code that is sent to you.

That's it, we'll take it from there!
Please note, depending on timing, it may take days for the transfer to take place.

This site is not currently in use. It was used for the beta phase where we were mining video feeds and getting events data.
Again, it is not currently in use, you should not be adding your camera nor checking your camera status on this platform.

The bonus tokens for cameras that were added on this platform have already been paid out. Tokens will need to be transferred to the new platform.

The only purpose of the miner.elumicate.com platform currently is to get your tokens transferred over. This is done by updating your email address on the My Account page. You must update the email address even if it is already there and it must match the new email address you have on the new app.

It does not matter what status your tokens are in on the miner.elumicate.com platform, you could have transferred them, claimed or not, staked, etc.
All mined testnet tokens will be transferred as long as you follow the instruction to update your email address with the matching email address from your new account.

This is the same as the mobile apps and is the new platform that is currently in use.

The only way to have earned tokens on this new platform is if you updated your email address on the old platform and the transfer was initiated (this is not instant, you may have to wait a little while for the transfer to take place).

This is where you want to add your camera to have it approved for mining.

The rewards go live tomorrow at a rate of 50,000 tokens per worker per year (halved at 500 workers and then again every time worker counts triple)

We've addressed the issue users are having when streaming from their devices and have updated using the web version for simplification.

You can now stream from your device by following the below steps carefully:

On the device you are setting up to stream from, navigate to
video.elumicate.com/ and click add your camera.

Create a secure password
Choose the camera you want to stream from
Choose No Audio
Click on START

Copy the streaming link on top of the page. You can also click to save your settings for future use in case you close and restart the session.
(This screen must remain open for your video to keep streaming and be marked online)


In the elumicate app, click add a camera and choose Share Video Link.
insert the link you copied from step 2 above, click verify link, and continue with the onboarding process.

That's it!
You can also use this method to onboard your computer's webcam!

✅ Home Page - added Worker Reward Rate (both hourly and daily)

We've had a significant number of discovery interviews over the past week and a half and have gotten great feedback and insight into what matters most to people and reasons and ways they are willing to participate.

Its all been very positive and extremely helpful in finding the best path forward.

Many of the people we are speaking with are very vocal about the concerns and problems they see in their communities . While in many cases they feel helpless, they find hope and excitement with what our community can offer and that they can be a part of it .

We've also discovered new technologies that could make a significant difference in lowering mining resource requirements (especially when using CPUs vs GPUs) and are investigating their usage in the project.
