We’ve spent a significant amount of time on market research 🧐 over the past several months and have validated many use cases for the Elumicate Vision Network 💯 . It’s been very interesting to see that as we discussed our vision network, people actively imagined new use cases and the value they and others could gain from such a network 🌕. Equally interesting was to see that most people had very different needs, which reinforced that we should not only focus on traffic but on the vision network as a whole 🌐.
This makes Phase 2 (IP Camera onboarding) much more exciting 🤩 . Since the focus has expanded beyond just traffic, we will be accepting camera streams that relate to a multitude of use cases such as:
• Roads and Sidewalks 🛣
• Public Gathering Places & Parks 📢
• Wildlife tracking 🐘
• Walking & Cycling Paths 🚵♀️
• Lakes & Rivers 🏞
• Public Indoor Spaces 🌆
• Other (let us know what you believe may be valuable data) We’ve also updated the Whitepaper.
As we are no longer focused on just traffic, a reward system based on traffic numbers no longer made sense.
We've implemented a new system that rewards 🪙 for specific roles/tasks by using workers 👷♂️ 👷♀️ , where each worker's active earnings is dependent on the number of workers on the network (every time the total number of workers triples, the active reward rate halves).
Each accessible camera stream is worth 1 worker by default and streams that are actively being mined for data will receive additional workers. Staking and NFTs will also allow additional workers and so will mining devices acquiring data.
• Under 500 network workers = 50,000 tokens/yr/worker
• 500 – 1499 network workers = 25,000 tokens/yr/worker
• etc.
It’s important to note that during this phase, our focus is on building the vision 👁 part of the network and not on acquiring data, which is why the Data Miner Phase has been placed on hold.
Stay tuned! Onboarding will begin in the next few days 🥳 and we will be releasing information on tested camera models soon. We will also be providing affiliate links for community members to use in order to help financially support the project.
Rewards will activate in the coming weeks, allowing everyone some extra time for ordering and setting up devices.

We apologize for the extended period without an update. We have been busy restructuring to support the official phase 2 launch and aim to ensure a smooth onboarding process. However, this requires integrating web2 authentication methods, which our system was not initially designed for.
The process is taking longer than expected (most likely will take a few more weeks), but we believe it will be beneficial in the long term. Our research has shown that requiring a wallet to add a camera to the network could be a significant obstacle for many users.
Additionally, we are actively developing a referral system that will provide bonus tokens to both the referee and the referred parties.
We strongly believe that this project presents an opportunity to make a meaningful impact in many people's lives spanning the globe. We aim to ensure that the wait is worthwhile and would like to express our sincere appreciation for your patience and support.

The team is making diligent progress on the development 🏗 of streamlined Web and Mobile device Apps, aiming to provide a quick and easy network onboarding experience.
The mobile app will utilize the device's local camera as a streaming source. Additionally, it will have the ability to scan your local networks, locate existing RTSP feeds, and share them with the Elumicate network. This alternative method eliminates the need for firewall port forwarding and enables the use of retired cell phones and tablets as stream forwarding sources 💪 . (RPi and desktop versions at a later time if desired by the community)
We are also working on integrating an area coverage map 🗺 into the app, allowing users to visually track network progress and covered areas conveniently.
In addition, we are actively working on implementing a reward system 💎 for referrals and integrating our NFT purchase and bonus reward system.
We have been closely monitoring market developments and believe that our current approach brings significant improvements. We appreciate your patience, as we believe the wait will be worthwhile.

Quick update, we're still waiting on app store / play store approvals after that we are good to go!
We'll start with app launch, users can create accounts on web, android, or IOS, and add cameras/convert devices into cameras, and get referrals.
In the following day or two we will release NFT minting where you will be able to claim a Free early bird NFT through the app (first 1000).
A few days later, rewards will go live (not launching the token... these are internal rewards which will be claimable once token is live). These will be full rewards as described in the whitepaper.

While doing final preparations for camera verification and rewards launch, we've decided to implement additional security measures which will require an App update in order to regain login functionalities on your devices.
The Web App will be updated and working very quickly however Mobile Apps are dependent on their platform's approval process and it may take up to 48hrs for the updated app to be available for download.
