Ex-Trump Chief Strategist backs Bitcoin, calls decentralized currencies ‘disruptive populism’

🌚Steve Bannon, CEO of the Trump’s 2016 campaign and former white house Chief Strategist, believes that cryptocurrencies will disrupt the financial sector in the same way that Trump disrupted American politics.

💣He described cryptocurrency as: “Disruptive populism, it takes control back from central authorities. It’s revolutionary.” And added that he has a “good stake” in bitcoin and is interested in working with entrepreneurs and countries involved in creating their own cryptocurrencies.

📌Mr. Bannon is now entering the cryptocurrency markets and Initial Coin Offerings, albeit in a low-key. The former White House strategist is wary that the negative publicity that comes up with his name on the heels of his shambolic fall out with U.S. president could have adverse effects on his cryptocurrency project.

🔥Mr. Bannon is having quiet private meetings with crypto investors and hedge funds engaged in the cryptocurrency market. He is planning to work on an ICO via his investment company, Bannon & Co. In his first speech on the topic, Mr. Bannon said that he was betting big on Bitcoin, having invested a significant amount in the largest cryptocurrency.

🤝Last month, Bannon met with Timothy Lewis, a hedge fund manager, and blockchain advisor, to discuss ICOs and cryptocurrency regulation. Lewis noted that he was stunned with the depth of Bannon’s grasp on cryptocurrency markets and ICOs, after a meeting.

⚡️ Reportedly, Bannon has expressed ambitions to create his own cryptocurrency. Earlier this year, in a meeting at Harvard University, Bannon apparently discussed creating a new cryptocurrency dubbed “deplorables coin.” The deplorables coin’s name references the time Hillary Clinton called half of president Trump supporters a “basket of deplorable” during the 2016 hotly contested election.

😵🔥🤞Bannon says he isn’t interested in digital currencies particularly for the commercial potential; he sees cryptocurrencies as a vital component of his political mission. He firmly believes that decentralized money can give back power to citizens that central banks took away by “debasing your currency” and making citizens “slaves to debt.”

Apple’s App Store officially bans cryptocurrency mining across all of its platforms

👉Apple has updated the Apple store Developer Review Guidelines to explicitly ban cryptocurrency mining across any type of app, and all of Apple’s platform. The gist is that Apple products user won’t be able to mine any cryptocurrency on their devices, but they can store it there.

❌In March, Apple removed Calendar 2 (a popular scheduling app) from the App Store after the app was updated with the ability to mine Monero on users’ devices to unlock premium features.

👇Apple has an entire cryptocurrency section under the Business section, which spells out specific guidelines for how apps in the Apple’s app store can facilitate transactions, mine or trade digital currencies:

✔️Wallets: Apps may facilitate cryptocurrency storage, provided they are offered by developers enrolled as an organization.
✔️Mining: Apps may not mine for cryptocurrencies unless the processing is performed off the device (e.g., cloud-based mining).
✔️Exchanges: Apps may facilitate transactions or transmissions of cryptocurrency on an approved exchange, provided the Crypto exchange itself offers them.
✔️ICOs: ICOs, digital currency futures trading, and other crypto-securities or quasi-securities trading must come from established banks, securities firms, futures commission merchants (“FCM”), or other approved financial institutions and must comply with all applicable law.
✔️Cryptocurrency apps may not offer digital tokens for completing tasks, such as downloading other apps, encouraging other users to download, posting to social networks, etc.

🔺Consequently, the App Store is the only place to acquire apps for iPhones, iPads, iPod touches, Apple TVs, and Apple Watches, Apple’s resolution will effectively end crypto mining on those devices. On macOS and jailbroken iPhones, users will continue to be able to acquire apps outside of the Mac and Apple Store, allowing mining and other activities to continue without Apple’s seal of approval.

👿Facebook, Twitter, Google, Snapchat, and LinkedIn have all banned ads featuring ICOs.
👾In November last year, a researcher found nearly 2,500 websites running some form of crypto jacking malware designed to use users device to mine cryptocurrencies.

So they start building sell walls just above that price and to place orders just below. The result is that people that see those walls won't buy there, price drops down and their orders get filled. Not only: many people sell to them but soon realize that the breakdown failed and they have been trapped by wales. Price break up fast that level and now everybody longs on breakup: so you see price go fast up to 6730 and whales have time to take profit there causing long wick.

Sentencing postponed for Los Angeles bitcoin trader

💰The federal prosecutor has asked US District Judge to sentence Tetley with 30 months of prison time, while Tetley’s defense team has asked only for a year. They’ve also asked for the forfeiture of 40 Bitcoins (Valued at $292,264) and 25 gold bars seized during the nab on March 30.
