•   Light Dependent = Location Thylakoid (LDT)
    *   This helps you remember where the light-dependent reactions occur.

•   Calvin Cycle = Carbon Fixation (CCF)
    * This reminds you that the main purpose of the cycle is carbon fixation.

•   Light-Dependent produces Oxygen = LDO
    * This helps remember the O2 production.

2.  Visual Analogy: The Money Analogy

•   Light-Dependent Reactions: Think of them as earning money (ATP and NADPH). You need an initial resource (sunlight), do some work (splitting water, ETC), and you get paid in the form of ATP and NADPH.
