The last statewide hand recount that was done in WA was in 2004, and it changed the result of the election. This could be interesting. The last time it happened for a primary was in 1960.

After this statewide hand recount in WA, people will no longer be able to say we need the machines because hand counting is impossible. No, we don't need them. But we would rather increase speed than trust, so we use them anyway.

Either way, at least it's good training in case we have a cyber attack on our election system as suggested by our own government.

Recounts are conducted so everyone can have confidence that the results are accurate and the right people take office.

In order for this to happen, recounts must be completely transparent. Those who wish to observe should be permitted to observe the entire process and verify the results are accurate.

During my experience observing the statewide hand recount, I was not able to verify the results.

Some other counties had a better process which observers had confidence in. My county expects us to trust but not verify.

Trust is earned through transparency.

*It will be difficult, if not impossible, to get 81 million ballots for Harris, especially when Trump yanks millions of 2016/2020 Dem voters to his side

*In order to bleed Harris ahead perhaps even in an electoral vote only win through the Rust Belt, Trump vote total will need to be contained so it isn't in the 85mm+ range, and thereby unstoppable and unbeatable

*The best way to control the quantity of Trump votes then, with Harris unable to replicate the 2020 cheatfest in magnitude, would be to have as many of these votes put in as possible before Election Day, and then...

Delete or otherwise "lose" them.

Then you can get your dueling vote totals under 80mm and narrate the outcome as needed.

Vote in person on Election Day unless absolutely unable to do so.
