When USAID uses the term "resilience" they really mean censorship:
- "The fractionation of the information landscape by new media is an important contributor to misinformationβs particular resilience to correction."
-"These approaches are often viewed as more important for sustaining long-term impacts as they concentrate on why and how disinformation influences society and the strategies to develop societal resilience against it."
- "Different demand-side solutions often look to governments, tech giants, and social media companies to promote education and training, raise awareness, or advance other efforts toward building more resilience against disinformation."
-"To build societal resilience against disinformation, the public must be aware of and understand the issue."
-"As advocated by the Knight Foundation, one of the best forms of resilience against mis- and disinformation is journalism."
-"DoS/USAID Joint Strategic Plan FY 2018-2022 Strategic Objective 1.4: Increase capacity and strengthen resilience of our partners and allies to deter aggression, coercion and malign influence by state and non-state actors"
-"Atlantic Councilβs Digital Forensic Research Lab (DFRLab) uses open-source research to expose and explain disinformation; the DFRLab seeks to build βthe worldβs leading hub of digital forensics analysts (#DigitalSherlocks),β promoting objective truth, protecting democratic institutions and norms, and forging greater digital resilience worldwide." https://cnxus.org/wp-content/uploads/2021/11/usaid-disinformation-primer.pdf

Connecticut, New York, Rhode Island, and Wisconsin are conducting presidential primary elections today. The candidates have already secured their positions for the election, but that doesn't mean they won't be up to their usual tricks or testing out some new ones. Stay alert, be safe, and VOTE! Watch everything going on and alert others if something is wrong!

I am in no way encouraging ballot harvesting as a solution. I personally think we should be banning the practice, not embracing it. Chain of custody is destroyed when anyone is allowed to return anyone else's ballot.
Additionally, there is no way to out-harvest people who have no moral boundaries. Your conscience will likely prevent you from winning that battle because the other side will stoop much lower than you would be willing to.
That being said, I'm just pointing out the obvious with this graphic. Cleaning the rolls in these areas would be a better use of your time than trying to "collect" their ballots.

Happy Friday! 214 days left before the Nov 5th election. I expect we will be faced with many challenges during this time. Some we will be prepared for and others we won't. The important thing is that we stick together and keep fighting. We need unity now more than ever. Divided we are weaker, so don't play into those traps.

Observing the election process isn't about just being there. It's about watching closely and sounding the alarm when things go wrong.
Know what to look for and who to alert during critical times.
Gather a team to make sure you don't miss anything.
Communication between observers and a central reporting method across the state will allow for quicker response times to any issues.
Get organized and get trained. Observers are the first line of defense because they can address issues immediately instead of hearing about it after the fact.

I am going to try one more time to get interest in my Polaris Recount System.
I designed Polaris in late 2021 to allow for crowd-sourced recounting of counties in which we have ballot images. Basically, you sign up, log in, and start judging the votes on ballot images you see randomly. Takes almost no time at all. Every ballot image is judged by multiple people and if they don't match, additional people see it until consensus is made. Volunteer auditors judge as many or few as they want. Some are addicted, comparing it to a video game.
We have completed a couple counties but we need... and I expected... thousands of people from across the country who constantly ask "what can I do?". Didn't happen. We got a couple hundred pretty darned dedicated people. Out of 80 million or more Trump supporters.
I have maybe 10 counties who got me their ballot images and have likely given up hope in me at this point. If we can get the kind of response we should get, these could be knocked out in a few months.
Please consider volunteering to be a citizen auditor. Info is at https://polarisrecount.com - if you want to try it out, the Polk County, Oregon recount is in process and could use your help. If I get enough volunteers, I'll open up another county or 2.
Nancy manages the system, if you have questions please email her at mamaraccoon@protonmail.com or message her on telegram at @mamaraccoon. thank you.

Here are the facts.
Lets use 30 seconds per ballot image average to note the votes and ballot condition. Many can do it faster, but lets use worst case. that's 120 per hour and 480 per day if someone devotes 4 hours a day.
One county I have has 1.5 million ballot images.
That's one person working for 3,125 days.
That's ten people working for 313 days.
That's 100 people working for 31 days
That's 1000 people working for 3 days.
Get it?
