Washington State continues to undermine our elections through the use of "pilot programs." The newest ones are supposedly to reduce mail in ballot signature rejection rates, because they claim people of certain ethnic backgrounds and younger voters disproportionately have their signatures rejected.

Watch out for this tactic in your state! Generating phony reports to manufacture a need to use pilot programs which sidestep the law.

I hope your state legislature isn't attacking elections as bad as WA is! (Some recent good election bills, but mostly really bad election bills.)

Testimony against Ranked Choice Voting in the legislature.

I was scheduled to testify on another bill regarding voter challenges, but they didn't allow me to, even though I was the first to sign up for both bills.

They don't know how glad they are. That one was my focus and I was prepared to rip it apart.

For some context, there was a lot of discussion/disagreement before my testimony on whether RCV was easy enough for people with cognitive disabilities.

How NGOs leverage to get laws passed in the state legislature.
It has become clear that the legislative process has little to do with the people's will, and everything to do with the will of those funding the organizations pushing the bills.
After getting people elected, they cash in on the debt owed to them in the form of preferential treatment in the legislature.
It also is clear that people are brought in to testify, likely hired similar to an actor, to read their script to further push the agenda of the ones funding the whole thing.
The one thing that makes this all work for them is that they can rely on you not showing up.
Time to put your foot down and show up every chance you get.

This is unrelated to the USAID commotion. I may tackle that one next. We shall see.

I don't typically share fundraising posts. But in WA, we are facing some real problems. No, it's not for me...

Two people in Island County were charged with crimes after being escorted out by police for not wearing a mask while observing the election.

One of the people had their charges dropped, just for the derranged prosecutor to turn around and file new felony charges over the matter.

There is no mask mandate (which isn't a law anyway) and the county auditor decided to make this rule up on her own, and now is using the prosecutor and the county resources to get revenge.

The National Science Foundation funds a continuing grant through 2026 to the University of WA for a total amount of $2,249,918.00 to research censorship strategies. The "principal investigator" is Kate Starbird, also known as one of the key players in the national censorship efforts to silence election concerns and covid questions. Congress funds the NSF.
