The AMU is a Merging Unit in a digital  substation which can publish messages over the substation process bus in compliance with the IEC 61850-9-2LE or IEC61869-9 standard. Data is published in the form of sampled values (SV) that comply with the light edition (LE) of the IEC 61850-9-2. And it has high accuracy time synchronization via PPS or IRIG-B, NTP, PTP1588, local clock or via its internal built-in GPS receiver. It is  Complies with: IEC 61850-9-2LE, and IEC 61850 GOOSE messaging. Also complies with the new IEC 61869-9 standard.
