The overthrow in Burkina Faso is about land. This is apart of the #ParisClimateAgreementExposed thread I did on twitter in 2020 (archived link below) Africa is being slashed and burned to make way for the new megafarms (mostly Chinese). These land-lease deals allow companies to come in and strip the land of every resource and leave it a barren wasteland.
"The Africa Regional Focal Point (RFP) covers the whole of the African continent, which is the most targeted region for large-scale land acquisitions (LSLAs) in the global south"
But first you need to move the people out...so you create a crisis (i.e. Boko Haram).
