President Klaus Iohannis announced he was resigning from office to spare the country from the crisis that would ensue as the Parliament is expected to vote for his impeachment.

“To spare Romania and its citizens from this crisis, I am resigning from the office of President of Romania. I will leave office the day after tomorrow, February 12,” the president said in a statement on Monday, February 10.

The president’s announcement came as a third request to suspend him from office is to be discussed and voted on by the Parliament on Tuesday, February 11.

After requests from the opposition parties were rejected twice for procedural reasons, this time the ultranationalist parties the Party of Young People (POT), the Alliance for the Union of Romanians (AUR), and SOS, joined by MPs of the Save Romania Union (USR) managed to gather the signatures needed for the process to begin.

DEVELOPING: Scottsdale Runway Closed After Plane Crashes Into Jet Upon Arrival – At Least One Dead (VIDEO)

Cockpit crushed.

The Scottsdale Airport announced its runway was closed after an accident occurred upon arrival.

According to reports, a private jet crashed into another plane at around 2:45 PM on Monday.

AZ Family reported that at least one person has died after the plane crash.

It is unclear if there are any other injuries.

“An accident has occurred upon arrival to runway 21. Fire Department is on scene assessing the situation. Scottsdale Airports runway is currently closed,” Scottsdale Airport said on X.

The most reckless use of taxpayer-funds under the United States Agency for International Development was revealed as it became known that the agency paid  college tuition for a jihadist who later became a central al Qaeda figure.
Recently resurfaced documents obtained by Fox News show the embattled agency paid American-born terrorist Anwar al-Awlaki's tuition for Colorado State University - years before he was killed in an American drone strike.
Copies of the June 1990 file, which was shared online, shows USAID granted al-Awlaki's request for an exchange visa after he fraudulently claimed he was a Yemeni national.
