Southwest District Health will no longer offer the COVID-19 vaccine to residents who want to pay for it. The health district’s board members voted 4-3 to stop administering the vaccine at its clinics after a handful of anti-vaccine doctors, among them Dr. Ryan Cole, who sits on the Central District Health board, gave presentations at a lengthy meeting Tuesday night. Before the meeting, the board received hundreds of public comments asking the health district to remove the vaccine from its programs.
