Soros’ son Alex says he is ”more political” than his dad & thinks the Dem Party needs to “be better about being more patriotic and inclusive.” 37-year-old is concerned about a possible Donald Trump comeback, he told WSJ that “just because someone votes Trump doesn’t mean they’re lost or racist.” Alex’s older half-brother Jonathan was long thought to be heir apparent, but the Journal reports he had a falling out with his father.

Former First Minister Nicola Sturgeon has been arrested in connection with the ongoing investigation into the funding and finances of the SNP.

Police confirmed a 52-year-old woman was taken into custody as a suspect and is being questioned by detectives.

It follows the arrest and release of her husband, ex-SNP chief executive Peter Murrell in April.

A spokesman for Ms Sturgeon confirmed she was cooperating with the investigation.

He said: "Nicola Sturgeon has today, Sunday 11 June, by arrangement with Police Scotland, attended an interview where she was to be arrested and questioned in relation to Operation Branchform.

JP Morgan has settled a lawsuit filed on behalf of victims of Jeffrey Epstein that revealed how the bank ignored warnings he was a 'high risk' client and continued to do business with him for years.

The bank announced the settlement on Monday without disclosing how much the it had agreed to pay.

The lawsuit was filed on behalf of one woman but the settlement rewards anyone who was victimized by Epstein, a known pedophile who killed himself in prison in 2019.

The number of victims who may stand to gain from the settlement could reach 100.

Silvio Berlusconi, the Italian former PM who bounced back from sex scandals and corruption cases, has died aged 86.

He died at the San Raffaele hospital in Milan. In April, he was treated for a lung infection linked to leukaemia.

Berlusconi's death leaves a "huge void", Italy's defence minister said. A flamboyant billionaire media tycoon, he first came to political office in 1994.

He led four governments until 2011, becoming the longest-serving prime minister in post-war Italy.

Last September, Berlusconi's centre-right Forza Italia party went into coalition under right-wing Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni.

Reacting to the news, Ms Meloni remembered her predecessor as a "fighter". In a video message, she said he remained "one of the most influential men in the history of Italy".
