😳Veterans Exposed To Chemicals, Afghanistan (K2)


U.S. Sen. Richard Blumenthal. D-Conn., Stronghold Freedom Foundation, Connecticut Veterans Legal Center & Yale Veterans Legal Services have filed a lawsuit against the Department of Defense.

veterans were not told which chemicals they had ingested or given medical care to address the exposure.

“It is a national imperative that veterans receive the info they need to get diagnosis, treatment & justice.”

According to a U.S. Army study, 75% of K2 vets will develop an illness related to their time on base.

Veterans have submitted a FOI request.

Advocates have said info about specific toxins would help them get health & disability benefits from the VA.

White House national security spokesman John Kirby said he doesn't see why everyone associates the Afghanistan withdrawal with 'chaos' as the White House released its congressionally-requested post-mortem of the Afghanistan withdrawal Thursday in a report that heavily blamed the Trump administration.

'All this talk of chaos, I just don't see it,' Kirby said in a White House briefing, referring to the withdrawal that culminated in a suicide bombing at the Kabul airport that 13 Americans and some 170 others dead. 'I just don't buy the whole argument of chaos.'

'President Biden's choices for how to execute a withdrawal from Afghanistan were severely constrained by conditions created by his predecessor,' the White House report read.
