By providing a no-fault lump-sum compensation in full & final settlement of claims, COVAX programme aims to significantly reduce the need for recourse to law courts' potentially lengthy & costly process.
World Health Organization (WHO) and Chubb Ltd, via ESIS Inc., a Chubb co, signed agreement on behalf of the COVAX Facility on 17 Feb '21 for administration of no-fault compensation programme for 92 low- and middle-income countries and economies eligible for support via the Gavi COVAX Advance Market Commitment (AMC) of the COVAX Facility.
The 1st & only jab injury compensation mechanism operating on an int'l scale will offer eligible individuals compensation for rare but serious adverse events associated with COVAX-distributed Jabs until 30 June 2022.

White House spokespeople would not supply an on-record comment about Baturina’s remarkable good fortune.
Baturina, billionaire widow of Moscow’s longtime former Mayor Yury Luzhkov, allegedly paid $3.5 million to a firm associated with first son Hunter Biden in February 2014 while his father was vice president.
